|Sandra Wells Sucku||Viola Mann Squires|
I am searching for Viola Elizabeth Mann who may have been married to Weller Squires. However, her parents were Albert Mann and Esther Brown. The info that Ancestry is sending my way has her adopted by the Squires family before marring Weller Squires. I have her married to Willard Squires, with no proof. I'm inclined to think I am totally on the wrong track and should stick with the Mann/Brown link. Anything you can add? Willard, Weller, or neither?

So what does his tombstone says? Born 1620 or 1630? True most genealogy says born ab. 1620, but that is not documented, what does the stone say in full text?

This is the same person you are talking about. I didn't set up the memorial so I must assume that Even is short for Ebenezer. I've been getting my information from a book The Hurbut Genealogy. The information I used to make the links is Page 412 for Elizabeth: here is a link to the page and book online.https://archive.org/stream/hurlbutgenealogy01hurl#page/412/mode/2up/search/warner
Hope this clears up the name being different.
Your sister in Christ,

I have been searching on ancestry.com for awhile now. Have seen the info you have on there re: grave info. Let me just say that your grave info is very helpful and presented in a loving way. My maternal Grandma was Elva Squires, daughter of Jay and Carrie Squires, grand daughter of Robert and Sarah Squires. In searching for a photo of Jay and Carrie Squires, I found an ancestry member who has a very old photo book of Squires family members with no info on the photos. He is related to me by way of Charles and Katherine Kellogg Squires who I believe is Robert Squires brother. Wondering if you would know of anybody that might help to ID these photos. Lynn

Hi Joyce, You must be related to the Howery tribe, but I can't figure out how or where. I am a daughter of Robert and Esther Howery, (also in Felt Plains cemetery; granddaughter of Fred and Minnie; great granddaughter of Rudolph & Mary.
Thanks for finding our error on Gerrald's memorial. It has been fixed.

Bracy was Stacys older brother, the one who went to California with sister Laura and parents..He died in Utah in a construction accident before I met Dave.
Stacy was my husband. He changed his name in 1972 to David Andrew Westenfelder. He died in 2005.
Laura and Patty are still living. An older sister,Crystal, who lived with Jesse and Bertha is, I believe still living.
There are two more Jim and a half sister.
That is as much as I know for sure.

My husband was Stacy Fountain(later David Westenfelder). His father was Gordon and his mother, Frances.
I noticed that none of the pages you created mention Winnifred Lucille as Gordons' sister.

|Jason Haldemann||Heman Squires/William Squires|
I have been doing some tracing back and found that I have some information for you. I have traced ancestry back to Heman Squires. The path takes me through William, the only son of Heman Jr. He married Sarah Elizabeth Anderson. She was born 9/14/1851 and died 2/11/1942. William Irving Squires and Sarah Elizabeth married 8/16/1870
William and Sarah had a son (thought to have had a daughter, but not sure). His name was Francis Winfred Squires, and he married Ruth Elizabeth Walker. Francis born 10/10/1875 Died 3/22/1966. Ruth was born 6/16/1898 died 3/27/1959. They were married 8/6/1919. My grandmother (Luella) was a daughter to Francis and Ruth. She had two sisters and a brother.
Any information on Heman Sr. Squires?

|Helen Radtke||RE: Squires grave correction|
that last drive is on the "east" end of the cemetery. You do follow the outer/perimeter drive north to where it turns to the west. Then you should see the large tree and the heart shaped stone.

|Helen Radtke||RE: Squires grave site|
I don't know how familiar you are with this cemetery. If you take the last drive into the cemetery (west end)and follow this outer drive to the north. I believe I found this grave very close to the one for Vernon Dean Squires. In one of the photos on the Vernon D. Squires grave you can see a large tree in the distance and you can also see a heart shaped gravestone. I actually used these as reference markers to find the stone for Dorothy. Do you live in the area?
We have lots of snow now so I probably won't be taking photos until spring.

this might give you a lead of where to look....this is the only plot listing that City of Evart gives....http://www.evart.org/?page_id=248
see information on how to check to see what records they might have other than the plot location and who the name the plot was under. Vernie was the only name listed on the records indexed on line.

|Thomas Squires||Fellow Squires|
I recently started trying to get my family tree figured out. Through some information my late Grandfather gathered I believe we may have some common ancestors. I believe Heman Squires Sr. is a common link for us. If I'm correct I believe he is my 5th Great Grandfather. I would like to speak with you sometime to discuss the possible link.
