Transfer request
Hi Tonie,

Could you please transfer Benjamin Perosns to me as I have multiple updates and links to make for this memorial number 33010439.
I have used the edit function several times over the past months but it is apparently not working. My member number is 47050163 and I would really appreciate the transfer.
Thank you!

Pleasant Ewell
Hi Toni,
There is no record of Pleasant Ewell at the Lehi Cemetery. I was afraid of this when I claimed this one. He probably was buried in the old Lehi Cemetery. This cemetery was closed many years ago and the bodies they were moved to the present Lehi Cemetery. The record keeping for the old cemetery was very poor and in many cases the graves were unmarked. The unmarked graves were moved and left unmarked in the newer cemetery.

Crown Hill Burial Park
Hi Tonie, I saw that there is a problem with the gravesite of Dorothy Fleming. Just to let you know Crown Hill is horrible about record keeping. I am going there this weekend and will keep a look out for her

Duplicate Memorial
Hi Tonie,
I notice a duplicate memorial for Susannah Evans Alldredge in Mesa City Cemetery. #38779457 has Susannah Evans Alldredge, and #38262987 has Susannan Evans Alldredge (which has a bio attached to the memorial). My suggestion is to combine these two memorials to eliminate the duplicate.

Isaac Alldredge II
Hi...Although I am not a direct descendant of Isaac Alldredge, I have some information on him in my tree on I found his story on his memorial page in findagrave. May I have your permission to enter it into my tree? I had already entered it, then realized I should have asked your permission...If you wish, I will delete it, with my apologies. It has a lot of historical value and insight into how our ancestors lived. Thank you, Jody Hall Johnson.

Alice Mills - Inglewood Park
I am sorry to report that Alice's grave is not marked. I confirmed with the cemetery staff; they checked the vault records and unfortunately a marker was never purchased. I took a photo of the location. Would you like me to fulfill your request, with a photo of the area? I wish this could have been a more positive result.
Best Regards,

I have three Alldredge memorials that I am managing. You probably know more about them than I do. If you would like them transferred to you give me your number and I will do it.

Hi Toni
You have actually met me. I am one of Leona Crawford Haltons daughters. I do have the bio that you sent but have hesitated to put it onto FInd a Grave because it is so long. I have been debating if I wanted to shortenit or do the long one. Good to hear from you.

Judi Pantano
Horton Chase
Hi Tonie,
I just got a call back from the Museum Co-ordinator at HomeLake Cemetery. They did find the location of Horton's gravesite. I have made a note and when I am back down there later this summer I will get the picture for you - if someone else doesn't claim it before I get there. Have a great day! Judi

RE: Ila May Chase Nlles

Good news at last...I have found Nila and have taken the following pictures. I just have to make them smaller so that they'll fit the space alloted for pictures in her memorial. Ila is in Lot 112, space 6 of the "Field of Honor" section of Memorial Park Cemetery just like you said in your last note to me. She shares a stone with Stanley Jay Niles.

(1) Ila Mae Chase Niles May 1, 1906 Oct 17, 2005 In Loving Memory Stanley Jay Niles June 18, 1928 April 10, 1974
(2) A close up of Dorothy L. Niles' side of her double stone. This woman may be part of your family, so I took her photograph also. She has a double stone but no one is buried with her. Her stone is just to the north of Nila's stone. Dorothy L. Niles "Annie" Jul 29,1928 Jan 15, 1992 there is a cross in the middle/bottom of her stone.
(3) Distant view of Dorothy's stone
(4) A close up of what is written on the feature for the "Field of Honor." It states "FLAG FLYING IN MEMORY OF THE VETERANS"
(5) picture of sign "Field of Honor" located on the west side of this section
(6) Graves of Ila, Stanley and Dorothy just to the SE of the feature...notice flag pole behind feature
(7) distant picture of #6...notice that a little road is just behine, to the north, of the feature. If I had turned around and looked to the south I would've gotten a view of I-40 just outside of the cemetery gate.
(8) another view of the feature Note: Most of the sections of this cemetery have features, but some do not.

If you prefer, send me your personal e-mail address and I'll send you all of these pictures. That way you can choose which ones you wish to display. I am so glad I was finally able to do this for you, Tonie. To think that she was there all this time and we just couldn't located her!! Go figure.

RE: Ila May Chase Nlles
This is good news indeed for your family. I know what its like to not be able to know exactly where a loved one is buried. I'll be happy to go out and look for Ila's grave; but it'll be a couple of weeks because I'm leaving on vacation the end of this week. If by any chance I can get out there before I leave town, I'll get you your long awaited picture. You have been really patient with me in my struggles to find Ila. Not finding her has been nagging at me.

Ila May Niles
I've not forgotten your request. This winter I've had respiratory problems that just won't quit and that has slowed down my grave hunting. I've spoken to two different employees in the office at Memorial Park Cemetery and both say Illa's entombed in the East Mausoleum. But she's not where they say she is and that is very strange. When I get back on my feet, I plan to go back out there and try again to find her grave. I've still got her name on my list of people to find. I haven't claimed your request again because of the ten day limit to find the grave. When I do find it, I'll claim it and upload the picture. Your grandmother sounds like she was a wonderful, loving woman. You are so fortunate to have so many good memories of her. Perhaps you could contact Memorial Park and explain that Illa's not entombed, but buried. My main contact in the office is Virginia Estrada Ask Virginia to e-mail me with the information when she finds it.

According to cemetery records, Ila is entombed in the East Mausoleum on the outside wall of the center building (Chapel)in PC 3, Space 2. I was out there to photograph it this morning, but found a different name on that crypt. I didn't have time to look into the matter further today, but will try to find out more later.

Margaret Yelland photo
You're quite welcome, glad to be able to help!

I also found a stone right below Margaret's for Harry E.(1899-1954) and Ruth M.(1898-1991) Yelland. Is this one of your relatives also? If so, yf you'd like to make the memorial pages and request the photo, I'll be glad to post it as well....
