Hi..there seems to be a duplicate of your memorial in a different cemetery.
Are you sure you have listed Memorial# 40711547 in the correct cemetery? The other listing is Memorial Created by: Bob Gibson Record added: Dec 01, 2013 Find A Grave Memorial# 121090117

Hello, I was hoping to request a photo of a headstone in Nova Scotia. It is of my great great grandfather's first wife. I am the one who created the record. In trying to figure out where to request the photo, I noticed that there was a disclaimer stating "don't show cemetery photos on this memorial." Added by Mary, which linked me to you. I don't understand what this means. Can you help?

Nisley emblem marker
I have added an enlarged photo of the emblem on Lee Nisley's grave and also added a better photo of his gravestone showing the entire marker. If you know what the emblem represents, please let me know. I have a few people I can show it to, maybe they can identify it's meaning?

Also FYI, there are other Stone's buried in Farmer Cemetery -- they have Find A grave memorials with photos, if you are interested.

Laura Wilder
Sorry for the mix-up on the photo for her stone! I have added the correct photo for Laura Wilder and deleted the wrong photo.

Thank you for making the links for Lee and correction on the dates for Elizabeth.

Would you like a photo of the Wilder/Nisley plot that is not labeled? I can email one to you if you want one. Just let me know.

Elizabeth Wilder dates
You have the DATES WRONG on Elizabeth Wilder's memorial page #81065247. She was born in 1788 and died in 1864. Her name is on the same stone as her husband Daniel - his dates are 1883-1854. Her name is on the bottom of his stone and her dates are there below her name. I have checked the cemetery book and the stone in the cemetery - they both have 1788-1864. It is important to have these right so that anyone visiting the memorial page for genealogy research see the correct dates for her!

Daniel and Elizabeth Wilder
I just added Olive and Levi Wilder's gravestone photos to their memorials. Levi's parents are buried in the same plot so I took photos and made memorials for them. I am going to transfer these new memorials to you.

Read the caption on the plot photo on Olive's memorial. Also buried on this plot are Abner, Lillie and Lee Nisley. I will make memorials for the Nisley tomorrow. Do you want me to transfer them to you also? The Nisleys have to be related to the Wilders because of the way the plot is set up.

My Find A Grave Bio
Hi Mary, Thank You for your message. Most people seem to take a negative view of my Bio. It's just that those like myself who go out photographing markers usually have other markers they would much rather be photographing rather than wandering a cemetery sometimes for hours looking for someone who hasn't had a marker in 80 years, one that's knee deep in poison ivy, or for someone who just wasn't there to begin with. I myself don't run out to photograph memorials anymore but instead wander cemeteries from my desktop. I go out and photograph entire cemeteries as I find it easier to find the person going through my photos. Another plus is that I have photos of some memorials that have since been vandalized and no longer exist. Its best to get the photo today as it might not be there tomorrow. But before I even look through my photos I go to the "Hale Survey" to see if its listed, if not, I don't waste my time looking for it. And from that point on, the person who made the request goes on my radar meaning I usually don't even look at there requests anymore. My area has several really good, dedicated and aggressive Find A Grave photographers who I believe feel the same as I do as I've seen some requests get no response when I'm pretty sure the marker is there. Where as, other requests usually have a claim on them almost as soon as there posted. I like to consider it friendly competition among Find A Grave volunteers and consider it a treat when ever we run into each other and have the opportunity compare notes. Well I've gone on long enough here. Again thanks for your message. And Happy Graving.

RE: message
Hi Mary,

Do you mean through Find A Grave or through Yahoo? I had some weird things happening with my yahoo email a while back. I changed my password and was hoping that fixed it. The only message I have from you the past few days was through here.

Kind regards,

RE: Hamilton Wilder
Hi Mary,

The memorial was created by another person and transferred to me. I haven't been able as yet to confirm if the name is correct. You might be able to answer a question for me - I've been confused about Hamilton and Harrison and haven't had the chance to dig into it to figure them out. Were they brothers possibly? My husband's ancestor - I believe his name to be Henry Harrison (or Harrison Henry), son of Keys and Lovira, and husband of Eliza. Are Hamilton and Harrison brothers? or the same person?

Kind regards,

Hi Mary...I'm very glad to have helped. I am not related to them, I was at the cemetery doing a picture request of Philenas grave when I kept stumbling across other Pollocks while searching. I will keep Horace in mind for the next time I go back, there are 2 other cemeteries I frequent in Northbridge so in my wanders if I find him I'll let you know. I know how it feels when you finally get to see the stones of your relatives that you thought you'd never see, my heart rings with joy for you. Teresa
