RE: additional information on veteran
Thanks. I have added the info you sent and taken the liberty to transfer his and his wife's memorials. I am not related, so if you do not wish to manage them, feel free to transfer to others.

RE: correction to memeorial
Hi Wayne! I have made an update and uploaded a photo of the monument for Paxton's Civil War Dead erected in 1871. I also included some addition information and the source.

RE: Thank you!
You are most welcome. It's always my pleasure to pay respect at the soldier's memorials.

RE: hank You!
You're welcome, but I'm sorry that the lettering on the rock doesn't show up better. I pass by this cemetery occasionally. I may stop on a cloudy day to see if I can get a better photo for you.

RE: George Bancroft St Joseph Lynn
Thanks! unfortunately we lost him when he was 13. He was quite a boy.

George Bancroft St Joseph Lynn
This is the wrong George Bancroft. #44824792 is the correct one. I have asked the person that made the memorial to remove it as it is a duplicate in the wrong cemetery.

Thanks Wayne,
Unfortunately, Find a grave does not tell me who you reference, so if you let me know I can add the CW service info you sent to his Bio.

Thanks again,

RE: herzog photo
Thanks for your message, Wayne. Actually, the Adult Burial List for Prospect Hill lists his wife (?) Hildegard as buried in Section C, Lot 65, but Charles is not on the list at all except that it says Charles was the owner of the plot.

RE: Thank you!
You're welcome. It was very interesting reading about him as I became curious when I saw the Signal Corps on his military stone. I found his grave by pure chance while working on a section-by-section transcription of Resurrection cemetery and remembered seeing it in the photo requests for the cemetery across the street (Forest Hill). The last name definitely stands out. He is not in Forest Hill as the memorial states, so I am hoping the owner of the memorial will change that information as soon as possible.

RE: Thanks!
My pleasure. I didn't realize there was no flag on the grave. I'll put one there.
