There is a McKinney Cemetery on Find A Grave but it has different people in it. that is why I named this cemetery the McKinney Family Cemetery. I think the man that created the first cemetery never actually went to the cemetery. I think he had family that he didn't know where to place and just placed them there. I have been going to that cemetery for 50 years. All of my family is buried there and in the Lann cemetery just a few 100 yards up the road. I have pictures of the cemetery and of the headstones. Samuel Spencer Howell and Sarah Rebecca McKinney Howell are my great-grand parents and Josiah McInnish McKinney and Mary Lann McKinney are my great great-grand parents.
Don't know all about the John Kitchens marrying James Lann's widow. Will be interesting to check that one out. Will let you know what I find. Thanks for the info

Samuel Spencer and Sarah Rebecca McKinney Howell are my great grandparents and I have been going to their cemetery since a was a child and I have wondered why no one had them on Find a Grave. So I added the cemetery and put their gravesites on there. I love it. It is sort of paying respect for them. I think that is the only picture of them that I have but if I find more, I will post them

|Holly Sweredoski Oesch||Seaching for Carley Family|
Dear Ms. Lana Mckinny,
I am one of the step-daughters of Richard Carley son of Jesse James Carley and Mattie Carley. Richard married our mother Joyce in 1974 and he passed in 1978. So my step father Rick had two step-daughters Holly (myself) and sister Kellie. We were his only children. We loved him so much and we wanted to find any surviving family that knew him. We had met at least one sister that lived in Dallas area. I don't remember her name If you could please pass this on to other family members I would appreciate it. Please feel free to write me at my email. God bless you. I am sorry I never got to meet my step-dad's parents. He was an wonderful father to us. Thanks, Holly Sweredoski Oesch

|Donna Schulte Loth||Herman and Louisa Herzog|
Lana, I've edited Louisa per your request, and linked her with husband Hermann and with her parents. I checked their death certificates to see what address was given for their residence, and it doesn't appear that the Magnolia was where they lived at the time of their deaths. It looks like 922 East Humphreys was their home.

I was going to check out this cemetery for your photo request, but I found this information.
It sounds like the cemetery is in bad condition and none of the headstones are visible are even present?

|Lynn||The Cochran Graves in Staples Cemetery|
I was at the Staples Cemetery in Staples, Texas, recently and took photos of the graves of Charles Monroe Cochran, his son Durwood G. Cochran, and Durwood's wife Stella Cochran for you. I have transferred Stella's grave to you also since you are related to this Cochran family and had already created memorials for Roe and Durwood.
