Coulsons at LaHarpe
Yeah, I'm a little confused by the whole Coulson & Cousland thing. Coulsons & Couslands are buried beside each other at Raritan so I wondered if it was the same family.

Is this (updated) how Anna Stansbury's memorial (119077213) should look? If not, let me know and I'll give it another shot.

I've never tried to have anything updated at La Harpe. I just add pictures and let people read the stones for themselves, as best they can.

Head Family in McDonough Co.
Hello Again - you got memorials made for Thomas & Isabelle (Painter) Head just in time for me to link their son Albert at Raritan Cemetery to them. I got a new book about Terre Haute and have been able to add a few infants there, but pretty much moved up the road to Raritan now. Everybody seems to have lived their lives in McDonough County only to be buried in Raritan!

I tried the foiling technique on the stone above and on the following: William J Wilson 115655319. It worked great for both! Thanks for having that tip in your profile! - Lance

I am working on adding photos for memorials here that previously had none. In doing so, I noticed that you had added quite a few flowers in this cemetery. So, in case these are your relatives or friends, I thought you would like to know.

Marcia,

Changes made, except IL county, I need to know the city/town she was born. County finder tool works only with that format.
Thanks for your interest and input.

Thank You Again!
I can't believe Glade City is only 37% photographed! I'll have to go through my pictures & see what else I've got.

Thanks for the info. on James Reynolds - the Reynolds family stones are some of the oldest in Terre Haute Cem, but I just don't know anything about the family. James is probably another son of Henry & Sarah Painter Reynolds. Henry was buried there in 1851. There are a couple stones from the late 1840's.

Thanks again for your help. I'll probably do my circle through McDonough, Hancock, & Henderson counties in September.

Gaumer's at LaHarpe Cem.
Glad to see you are still plugging along - me, too. Got a couple hundred pictures at LaHarpe Cem. on 4 July. I'll have to check for Gaumer's. It's a name I know so maybe I snapped those stones if I saw that name.

Hamilton family of Kossuth, Iowa
Marcia,
I don't know if you can help, but am hoping you can. I have in my possession a family bible belonging to the John Hamilton family and would like to reunite it with descendants. The bible itself dates to 1850 and has information on individuals of this family dating from 1815. I have researched find a grave and found some of these family members buried in the same cemetery in Kossuth. This is how I found you. My sister in law bought this bible in an estate sale in the 1970's in Arkansas which is where I am. If you know of any way I might be able to get this precious item to it's proper place and people, please let me know.

Many thanks,

Hi Marcia,
Just wanted to give you a little more information.
You have a notation that the burial site was a presumed location. You are correct he is buried in Little Sioux Cemetery. He is in Section 1 Row 21. Also he fought in two different units during the Civil War. Illinois Infantry, A 118 and Illinois Infantry K 146.
Thanks for all your work with Find A Grave.

Thanks for the heads up on the duplicate. I've deleted it. P.S. I tried the aluminum foil technique you mentioned on your profile page. It worked well for this marker - # 110793701. Thanks.
