John Croft in Bird Cemetery
Hi- Can you please tell us the date of death and the age it says he died on John Croft's tombstone ---in years months and days ?

the date of death is the only thing on his findagrave and it would help us to know what age in years, months and days it says on the John Croft tombstone.
I cannot make it out from the picture. Can you please let us know what it says as the age in years, months and days. Thank you - it would help us alot

Regarding John Croft's wife in the Byrd Cemetery
You write on John Croft's findagrave under his photo of his tombstone that his wife Rebecca was buried right next to him and you have her tombstone photo. If you do have her tombstone photo, can you put it on her findagrave ? Right now she doesnt have a picture and it looks like she has no tombstone. Her family would really appreciate it .

thank you

Carrie and Charles Williams
Today I claimed the request to fulfill the headstone request for Carrie and Charles Williams, which I did. Can you be so kind as to go to these two memorials and remove the photo you posted?

Thank you so very much,

Hi Tamara,
You posted a photo for Perry Howe in Groton Rural Cemetery. In the caption, you say that there were others listed on the stone. Can you add a photo for Mary Stuart Love please? I have created a memorial for her in this cemetery #101362262. Mary Love is the mother of Mary Love Howe, Perry's wife.
Thanks so much.

RE: Speedsville Photo's...
Tamara, Thanks for your prompt reply. I am so
sorry to be so dumb, about the weather. I live in
Florida, and was totally unthinking about the snow. Whenever you can, when ever it is convenient for you, it would be greatly appreciated.
I know that your area was given lots of snow,
in the past few weeks, so I hope that you enjoy
skiing. We have budding trees, and azaleas blooming
early, and my orange tree is in full bloom to produce about two or three hundred oranges for
Christmas. If you come our way, let me know and
I Pick some in December.
Mary Byron. Genealogy Reseacher for
Debra Freeland Davey. The tombstone is her ancestor.

the information. Your truly,

RE: Re: Snyder's...

You have been so good to me Tamara! Above is a link to Mac Tudor, or if you google Virgil Snyder Bio. it will come up. He was a world famous Cornell Math Professor from Ithaca. He is buried in East Lawn and had two sons,Norman and Herbert J. They could be alive or their children would be. You can check out my blog at The Hudson Highlands Revisited, scroll down to see the page on Snyder. Since Mr. Snyder and Mr.Howell were friends, I thought the Snyders might have pictures/correspondence between the two. I may have some pictures for the family as well. Since you posted in find a grave, I thoght you might be from the area and could ask around.. Again thanks! Rich Vacek

Hello Tamara
I just found out someone has photographed the tombstones at the East Lawn Cemetery. I sent them an email to see if they had James. I am so glad you were willing to help me. Thanks for all your help!!!

James Francis
Hello Tamara
I put the photo request under Bess Ferriss because James and Helen Francis are listed on findagrave. If you can't find them or they give you a hard time. I will write a letter to the cemetery. Thanks for at least trying.

Harry Francis
Hello Tamara
I really want to find the date of death for Harry but I don't have a year which is why the request for the photo. They are not listed on findagrave but I have her obit which say she is buried there. I was hoping his date of death was on the stone. If you do not want to go there I understand. I wonder if they would answer a letter instead.

RE: More extra photos....
You must be right, of course. Too many Mary's, Richards, Thomases, James, etc, etc :-)
Since George Williams was an "uncle" I don't have as much on him as I do on the grandparents(Peter & Deborah Lane and Ichabod & Sarah Williams) I just had the one wife for George, Annice. Not at all unlikely there was a Mary too though. The Upson's, also, are just Aunts but since I know the nicest decendant of them I have a little more information. I would love to have at least the real grandparents in this bunch transfered to me but, so far, all the group is being managed by someone who has 46,000 (!) and is a non-responder. I really hesitate to add much information to a memorial if I don't manage it because I can't guarantee that information won't be changed if someone doesn't know better. Your help is really appreciated and you're motivating me to get out a take some pictures I could share. I love old cemeteries! Thanks.
