I am going along with your "pretty sure" & "99.9%" assessment!!! The weather and elements sure play havoc on our memorials!

Thank you so much for taking photos for me! It has been many years since I've been out to that cemetery!

You're very welcome, Betty. I have several family members buried there and actually grew up less than 1/8 of a mile from that cemetery. I took piics of all the headstones with writing. There were lots of unmarked graves. I am glad to be able to preserve a little bit of history. Are you related to Ed? His half sister, Ivory Hayse was my grandfather's first wife. Just a note about Ed and Ivory's gravestones--they're in the left hand upper corner of the cemetery and the writing is facing the fence. Had I not been persistent and curious, I would have missed these two or thought they were unmarked.

RE: peter giesen
your good, lol, George William was my great grandfather, my grandfather is George jr, he was born in Cullman Alabama, they moved to Ohio when my grandfather was very young. Caroline's married name was cross. I am not sure who or whatever became of her husband. He must have died sometime before they moved. I think Caroline may have stayed in Indiana for sometime after my grandfather moved.

I am hunting for information on Adam Spanier. I noticed your profile on him and I was wondering if you knew if his parents were also interred in the same cemetery? Thank you.

Betty, thank you so much for the work you have put into this, it is much appreciated. That's what usually happens to me, is that when I'm not looking I find what I need. Would love to meet you, next time I'm headed that way, I will send you a message. Thanks again,

Wonderful, Betty!
I'm so happy you made it over there! I've been a bit lax with checking mail as I've been working steadily to update my King line and try to get it printed before our family reunion Labor Day weekend.

I haven't put one out for nearly 20 years - so, it's been quite a monumental task to get the information from everyone. I'm sure you understand!

I'll look forward to seeing what you have posted in the months to come!

Take care,

again, though bad news it was news gracefully received as we really need this site clean
thanks again eliz
