Riley, thanks so much for taking the time to take this photo for me. I'm late with a response due to my laptop being in the shop. You have a great name! I have a son named Riley James P.

Memorial # 27730460 is a duplicate of #15142542. The one with the lower number was placed in 2006, the other one in 2008. You should notify the contributor who placed the duplicate to move his photo to the original entry and delete his duplicate. There is no way to merge them without asking the administrators to do so. Contributors do not have the power to do that.

Since you found the duplicates, would you be so kind as to notify the 2nd contributor that he has added a duplicate?

Thank you!

Barnes Family
Hi Riley,
Wondering how you are related to Barnes Family. My GGGrandfather was Tobias Barnes. My Great Grandmother Eller Barnes was his and his first wife, Charlotte Blankenship's, daughter. I have little information re: this family and would appreciate any you have. I would give you my email but not on a public message. Is there a way we can email privately? Thanks, Terrie

John Luther

I would like your permission to use the photo of John Luther's headstone on my site, with credit to you, of course. Also, I would like to be able to use any other photos that pertain to my research in the same manner.

Swan Point
Good evening, Riley:

Thanks for pointing out the three duplicates from Swan Point. I'll take them off my list but I'm not sure what to do to clear them. I don't have the original photos any more (changed to a iMac and oh.... never mind;-) so I can't re-download them per Jen's instructions. I'm not the most computer literate person around. Mostly, it's a struggle for me. I do appreciate your input. I really do love filling these requests especially in places like Swan Point.

Photo requests: Something I learned
Just wanted to make those who have attempted to fill photo requests in Rhode Island aware of something new. Have you ever tried to fill a photo request (almost all of which belonged to a certain contributor who had a bunch of his multiple accounts deleted) but when you click fulfill & upload the photo, you don't get credit & the request stays on the photo request list as unfilled? These requests always said "added by: ". These requests now say "added by: Find a Grave". I discovered this the other day. I had 7 such requests I had tried to fill last year in Pawtucket but after I uploaded the pix nothing happened. Tried again the other night, deleted my pix, reuploaded them again using the "fulfill" button, I got credit and more importantly the requests disapeared off the request lists. There are a lot of such requests in Rhode Island, some have multiple pictures put on by several different people. I thought some contributors might like to try filling them again & get lots of the already done ones off the list, to stop people wasting time & gas money!
