Re: Pvt. John Storment & Martha
I am writing a screenplay about Alton Military Prison and Pvt. John Storment is my 4th Great Grandfather on my mother's side of the tree.

To be exact:

My mother is a Stacks her father's mother was Lela Storment her parents were Benjamin W. Storment & Portia and Benjamin W. Storment's parents if my research is correct are William J. Storment & Elizabeth Floyd.

William J. Storment's parents are John Storment & Martha Craig.

I am writing because I am interested in knowing if John ever left any journals to any family members as well as the location of where his home may have been when he was captured.

Military documents state he was captured on sick furlough at home.

Any other information you might have or know of is welcomed information.

I would love to visit the part of Mississippi he was from but knowing how to find the area on Google earth will be just as great.

Ann Lindsey
RE: Brannum, Woodruff
Hello Rebecca,

Thank you for your message. Many of our families traveled together or migrated to AL and MS when many who served got a land grant for their service in the war of 1812. And many of mine also moved to that part of MS.

It was really hard researching my Tubbs family. George's mother, Sarah was my grandmother's younger sister. I have never been able to find where she and William are buried. If you check my page, their parents were Lucien B. & Mary Ann Hall Tubbs and you can see their siblings.

Let me know how I can help.

Hi Ms Moss, I have seen some of your work and if I am correct on my research this lady is connected to your Hopkins. Mary Francis Hopkins draper is the daughter of Andrew Jackson Hopkins and Mable Blue Smith Hopkins Blue who are buried right close to her also her son Larry Walden is next to her. I know this because they are my husbands grand parents. I have found a bit of your research on Rebecca Bailey Hopkins. Can you please connect her with her parents and her son. thanks so much.

Ditha Gwynn
Her death certificate shows that she is buried in Gwynn Cemetery. As there is no headstone I have added her D C to memorial. I found it by searching TN death certificates. My son said there were some broken headstones there. I believe he said they were stacked against the fence and could not be read

RE: Blytheville Public Library (cemetery)
I did not start this cemetery. I received a photo request and honestly did not know that there was even a cemetery at this location until then. I stopped one day on my way home from work, and took photos of the remaining stones. Maybe you can try to notify find a grave somehow of the info that you know.

RE: Nat Bynum
I'm sure I answered your note. I want to tell you that I found all of the Nat Bynum and Ollie
Alice Luttrell Bynum, family. We communicate
quite abit by phone and face book.

If you have any other information about the Luttrell family that would help me, I would appreciate it.

I have a picture of a Lee Luttrell, from there in Mississippi, but I don't seem to be able to find which family or should I say his parents.
He became a Baptist Preacher. I got the picture from one of the Bynum grandchildren, but they didn't know who the parents of Lee is.

Any information you can give me , would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Nat Bynum
I just went to my Find A Grave and read the
message that you wrote to me about the Bynums.
I would love for you to know that I found all
of the Nathaniel Bynum family. Nat's wife, Ollie
Luttrell Bynum was my fathers sister. I have throughly enjoyed being able to talk to some of the
Bynum grand children. There is one of Nat's children still living in Plainview, Texas.
I said, talk to some of the grands, I should have said, I have talked to almost all of them through Face Book.

I can't add the directions on this cemetery myself but I'll contact administration and have them add them. It usually takes them several days to make the changes.
