|Mary Hanna||RE: Christopher Columbus Hannah|
Not sure if you have more info or not , if you do photos etc., I would absolutely love it all!
That is so exciting, that Samuel Agustus is your great grandfather!
All through my research I have realized how names were definitely passed down from generation to generation. Well Samuel Augustus's name definitely found it's way to my family. My Grandfather's name was Columbus Augustus(James Porter's son), my Dad's name is Christopher Augustus and my youngest son's name is Augustus Allen!
There is an Augustine in the Choate line but the spelling of my son is after my Dad and grandfather and Florinda's youger brother Samuel Augustus. Is the spelling of Samuel Augustus with no u?
Luv your Cuz Mary

|Mary Hanna||Christopher Columbus Hannah|
My Hanna lineage is directly through Florinda Wynn and her husband CC Hanna, my 3x's great grandmother and 3x's great grandfather. Their eldest son James Porter Hanna was born when she was approximately 19 according to an 1870 (Tish. County Miss) census that actually had her age at 18, and shows he was not born yet, also proves CC Hanna (my gg grandfather) had a sister named Lucinda living with them when she was 12. James Porter is my g grandfather, his son Columbus Augustus is my Dad's father and my grandfather of course.
I have loved the photos especially of Robert Q Hanna (Florinda's youngest son) and his wife Eva. Since you have been at geneology so long if you have any info at all on CC Hannah's, Florinda's husband, his heritage, I would love it.
Thank You So Much!

|Bill Floyd||RE: Floyd,Pinkston,Storment|
Yes, my John Floyd is buried in the Friendship Cemetery in Tishamingo County. Years ago prior to my GrandFather death in 1954 he made a chart showing a lot of relations, from that chart he stated that John married a Mayo, no first name.
Let talk about your Mary Lou Janie Thompson and the name I have of Mayo.
In Grand Father's chart he did list Vant, Dick Harman, Bob and others as brothers.
One sister married a Felker and Caroline married a Storman.

|Zoe Tom||Sarah Peden|
Thanks for the heads up about Sarah Peden. I added your note into the memorial.
Maybe we can get a tombstone picture. I wrote a man who has taken other pictures in that cemetery and told him of our problem, and I hope that he will take the picture of Sarah's tombstone. Maybe that will clearify things. Is she your ancestor?

|Tony & Patricia Held||RE: O'Hagan Family|
St Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sherman, Texas happens to be our Parish's cemetery and we added all those laid to rest there on Find-a-Grave, but we do not have any relatives there.
I went to the library this morning and located Mary's obituary that noted her being buried at Kilgore City Cemetery. Since she did not have a memorial, we added one for her. You can peruse it at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=67570166.
You say that John also died in Kilgore. I would venture to say he is also buried there. I have requested a marker photo and asked if John was also at the same cemetery. Hopefuly, we will get an answer soon.
Meanwhile, I hope this entry helps with your search.
