RE: Thank you
That's okay, this is way down my M-I-L's father's family, in fact something on the order of a "step-cousin". I was just checking if I had anything new on the "step" side, and found the find a grave listing. With Ancestry.com listing find a grave, now. I'm using this resource a lot.
Thanks for going to the cemeteries and doing the tough work. I've taken quite a few of my own photos of the family graves. But at the time, didn't know about this site. I know how difficult this work is.
Thanks, Cindy

RE: THANK YOU THANK YOU
It is a really old cemetery run by volunteers, so I just walked around and got lucky right away. The headstone is rather unique and quite nice with 2 family members on each of the 4 sides. Glad I could get it done before the snow falls.

Elizabeth Sherwood Records transfer
Hi Scott,
I've transferred your GG Grandmother's record to you. Glad to hear it was helpful to enter her Memorial record.

May the holiday season continue to be all that you would like it to be.

RE: Thank You Again!!
Scott, again, you are entirely welcome. It definitely is my pleasure to help unite families with their deceased relatives. I cleaned over 100 years of moss from the beautiful headstone, so it would look presentable for you. It is one of the oldest that I have photographed in my short time here.

RE: Nitz
I have called the cemetery, confirmed that she is buried under the name Marga L Nitz, though her birth name was as I first listed it. She's in Sunrise Terrace, lot 60, grave 2. I have corrected all information and resubmitted the photo request, should you be back in the area. Thanks for your follow through; I wouldn't have known otherwise that she was buried as Marga.

Nitz
Findagrave has sent me an email saying Lincoln had no record of an Ilse Margarete Leonhardt Nitz. I find that the Oregon Death Record index lists her as Marga L. Nitz. Was there such a burial at Lincoln Memorial Park? (She was Aunt Marga to my husband.)

Thanks,
Julie

Thanks for the photo! Another volunteer was on his way out the door to photograph it when he saw you posted it. He was going to let me use the photo on my tree. I hope it's ok to use yours. I need to ask to be sure. Thanks again!
