I can't thank you enough for your time and photo of Mike's headstone. Since I'll probably never get to see it in person, this is the next best thing. Thank you so very much.

I could have sworn making sure that there wasn't a duplicate. Thank you for pointing it out. Would you mind adding your pictures to the original memorial for Selena? I didn't take down the duplicate yet for the possibility you had already deleted your original. Let me know, so I can delete the second memorial immediately... Sandra

Thanks for the message about Grace Young's birth year in the Albany Rural Cemetery. Even some of the Census records for the children in that family were conflicting on the birth years!

|Chris Lundgren||A. C. Ten Eyck Jr.|
How have you been? I believe I found a connection between Lt. Commander A. C. Ten Eyck (married to my Granfather's sister Grace Lundgren Ten Eyck)and his son A. C. Ten Eyck Jr. of Great Neck, LI. He moved to St. Croix, VI and died there 4/6/70. I found wedding announcement Oct. 12. 1914 - Brooklyn that he married Miss Ethel Blanch Whitman and is the son of Lt. Commander and Mrs. Cuyler Ten Eyck (Grace) of Great Neck. All the pieces seem to fit. Also, my Dad Charles C. passed away Jan. 28th. I will get you photos one day soon, say Hi to Gene.
All the best, Chris

|Roy Wein||Lewis G. Hoffman|
I have more information for Mr. Hoffman. His wife's maiden name was Jewett and they were married on Aug. 12, 1823 in Watertown, NY.
Mr. Hoffman was the founder, publisher and editor of the "Black Rock Beacon" in 1822 in what is now a section of Buffalo, NY. In 1826 he was the publisher of the "Albany Christian Register" and the "Masonic Register". In 1834 the firm of Hunter & Hoffman were the publishers of the "Albany Daily News" and in 1842 Hoffman was the editor of the "American Masonic Register". You may use any or all of the above info, as you see fit.

I was interested in reaching the graves at this site in Latham, NY...but I can't seem to find any information on where best to access it. Do you have any suggestions on where to park/walk in from? Thanks!!

|Tom S.||Lyman at St Mary of the Snow|
Thank you for all the work you've done here!
I'm looking for records related to a brother of my ggf, Thomas Lynam/Lyman & wife Julia (Moran), their oldest child known to me said to have been born at Glasco in Feb 1872. They were devout Catholics and it seems they would have been attending St. Mary's.
The one Lyman entry for this cemetery here on Find-a-Grave, for "Death: Nov., 1883; Son of Thomas Lyman. Age 23." is a person who is too old to be part of the immediate family.
I'm trying to decide if there is a point to looking for a sexton's register or similar records for this cemetery. From the data in your entries here, my guess is that you were working from a written record, maybe a register? Do you think it's fair to say that all the interments in this cemetery are listed here in Find- already?

Thank you for the pictures of the Morton memorial. I didn't realize it was the same as the Loomis and Nichols memorials. William Hayward Morton & Theresa Maria Waite Morton are the parents of Sarah Theresa Morton Loomis, wife of Charles Webster Loomis, and also the parents of Henrietta M. Morton Nichols, wife of Henry O. Nichols. I am now curious to know who is on the remaining side of the memorial.
