Mount Olive Photo Request
Hi. I will be going to Mount Olive cemetery over the next 3 or 4 weeks (weather permitting) to take photos of my relatives grave sites and I saw you had a request(s). If you would call the cemetery office (number on the front page of the cemetery page) and get the location of the burial, I will try to get the photo request for you while I am there. Just add it to your memorial in the plot section. They are very helpful at the office. Kathy

Schnadt and Meier duplicates
I have transfered these memorials to you - this is contrary to Find A Grave policy which is to keep the oldest memorial, so please do not create any more duplicate memorials. (I would have been happy to transfer them to you.)
Please also keep or transfer all the links I had and correct the dates per the photos of the gravestones.
I also added my photos to your memorials, so you can combine them.
Good luck!

I.O.O.F. /Tilden City Cemetery
I have a correction on the location of the I.O.O.F. Tilden Cemetery, it is located in Madison County, NE, not Antelope County, NE

I ran across a John and Mary Clavey when I did your photo request. The marker is near other Clavey markers but there was no request for it. I don't know if this information is on your family members or not but it reads John Clavey 1951-1953 and Mary Clavey 1958. I have the picture of the stone. Linda

Watters, in Kilbourne
Hi, I am in the process of posting photos for the Watters family. In addition to the ones you requested, I am posting other Watters family members that were also in the cemetery. I wanted to make sure you knew they are posted, so you could take a look at them. I hope they provide you with some new information! Adrienne

RE: Mary Schwingel
You're very welcome, Ray! Christian, Elisabetha and Maria Schwingel are also at Wheeling Cemetery. There was another stone for Elisabetha, I'll send you that and a picture of the whole family plot via email. I did look for the Huhn markers, but didn't see them. Many of the older markers in this cemetery are broken. In fact, there are quite a few piles of old markers and some them have actually been used as borders around the bushes. It's really very sad. I'm sure I'll head back there soon. If you happen to know the location of the Huhn markers within the cemetery, that would help. The cemetery is divided into about 6 sections and there is a posted map with section numbers and many of the plot owner's names. Unfortunately, I did not see the Huhn name listed.

Mary Schwingel
Wanted to let you know that I also found a marker for Mary Schwingel today at Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling, IL. (1860-1944) Please do let me know if you make a page for her and I'll be happy to add the photo.
All the best-Sherry

Armits at Fassett
Please note that Anna was born in 1854.

Also found stones for Harry T. (1884-1963) and Tillie V. (1897-1995) Armit, Leslie C Armit (1918-1920 - son of Harry and Tillie) and Alexander (1882-1945). I have created bios for them in the Fassett Cemetery.

The stones were all together, so if you would like I can transfer the bios to you. Please let me know.

Thank you for the recent photo of Henry L McMullen's Grave Site. Next time (no hurry) you are over that way would you check to see if he had a wife buried near him, please?

I can not seem to locate one on his family tree.

Huhn Markers at Wheeling Township
Hello Ray,
After walking the older sections of Wheeling Township Cemetery in Arlington Heights, I called and left a message for Linda who works at the township office and is in charge of the cemetery records. She left me a voice mail and said there are no listings for anyone with the Huhn surname listed in this cemetery. If you would like to call and confirm this information, the number is 847-259-7730.

You're quite welcome, glad to help! It's sad that apparently both she and her young son died together...... Do you know if her husband is still alive, or where he might be buried? There are apparently no S. E. Millers at LANC....
