|Debby (Patt) Margiotta||RE: Samuel Stocker|
The only person that I know would have buried him would have been his daughter Rosa Belle Stocker Uber. From what I was told by Rosa Belle's oldest living daughter (she is 98) that Samuel was buried near the Uber plot. He very well might not have a stone. Her daughter could not remember, but all the Ubers are buried there.
Thanks for checking for me!!! I will withdraw him for a picture.

During the war he was promoted to Major, and became the assistant paymaster of the U.S. Army. He was appointed Adjudant General of New York in 1866.

Many thanks to Gail, who braved the snow to take pictures to help some descendants in Arizona. She even found a lost relative! This was our first request, & we are grateful to this fine volunteer.
