Thank you Gail for the Altrock picture. There should be more children's death located on the other sides of the big gravestone. I know you said you would go out again when the weather was better and get them.
Thank you so much, so say they lost 6 children to Black Dephthia. I have a story told by one of the surviving 14 children of losing so many of his sibblings.

Just a heads up... the photos you posted for Sarah Aletta Fondey #20416494 are actually for Sarah Fondey Winne #59301187. The inscription just says Sarah Fondey, so easy to mix up. Thanks.

Re: Chadseys
Gail thank you for the breakdown on the cemetery codes.

Yes there is a Chadsey family cemetery.
It's located "1/2 mile S of Jonesville east side of road to Clifton Park."

I am so curious about this cemetery. I'd love to have have it on find a grave and have the graves there recorded. If you would be up to that it would be a wonderful thing to have this old family cemetery recorded for posterity.

Have you ever seen Durkee's Epitaphs?

I'll send you an email tomorrow.

SMITH Family, Rensselaerville Cemetery

Thank you so much for finding the graves of Caroline and Harvey SMITH. I learn a little more about this family every now and then. While you were there, did you happen to see a grave for John SMITH (1864) or Phebe SMITH (~1845). They were Harvey's parents. They died in R'ville as well. I know little about John. It's a difficult surname to research.

RE: Zebulon Mosher
I too use chalk and a digital camera to make sense out of the remnants of time ravaged stone. Particularly for the oldest of stones, it seems necessary because of the softness of them. Thanks again for your efforts.

Thanks so very much for the photo of Zeb's grave. I hope you are successful at transcribing the epitaph. I know how difficult it can be to raise the letters. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
