RE: james m
Sharon,
No, I'm not related to Jim O'Dell, he and Clarice were friends of ours. As are their kids, Larry, Mike and Stephany. If you are related, or a friend of the family, I will transfer the Memorial to you.

Eddys hartman Hunt
I seen your very old message on Eddys Fay Hartman Hunt that you left for Bonnie Myers (#46851322), do you still need answers after all this time, I can give them to you if you want. The Hartman family that Eddys belongs to is my grandmother's family in Michigan.

Pandora Hooper
The death certificate number is 22839. The name is given as Bettie Joe Hooper. The date of death was August 7th, 1924; she lived 12 hours.

The stone was evidently set years after the baby's death, which helps explain the discrepancy in the dates. I can only conjecture about the difference in names.

Sharon, I am sorry not to be able to answer your question. But

1) I am happy to transfer him to you...
2) I would click on "request a photo" and hopefully a volunteer in that area could locate his grave and post a photo.

Thanks so much, Sharon, for all your good works. I will find the photo of Aunt Annie which my Grandma had and post it on the memorial page you created for her. Your work has made me very happy, a taste of heaven. Blessings to you and your family, David

RE: Jacob Cates
But what makes you think Charles was his brother? That's the part that gets me! Do you have a will or letters or something? Charles was living in Clay Co 1830, near the Willis & Poteet families, & the only other Cates there was an Alphord Cates that I've never been able to figure out. There was at least one Harrington around if I remember right, so it makes sense, but where is the link?

Sorry, I don't have proof of anything Cates before Charles m. Nancy Willis! I think the things you gave me are the most convincing but as to proof, I wonder how you even know that Jacob was his brother. I've seen all kinds of Cates stuff but somehow it just doesn't quite connect. Family lore says that Charles & Nancy were "Indian thru & thru" which doesn't seem quite right but it sure looks as if they were somehow separated from family even tho nearby, & I've wondered if they may have had Native Am parent who married into these 2 families. Charles did say in one census that he was b. W. TN - but I've begun to realize that that could mean Middle TN at the time he said it, so not sure how much it means. I may already have this, but don't have my notes with me: when was Jacob born, & where did he settle? I'll take a look at my notes asap, maybe something will jump out at me..

My record only cover Millard and Bertha. I don't have any children listed.
Find A Grave lists Anna Kate on Millard and Bertha's memorial, I didn't make the link. Best guess is Tony Martin he the one that added all the photos.

Hi Sharon,

I did some checking and I would go with the memorial in Union Cemetery since there is a stone there for her. Do you know where Green Sewell is buried? That name sounds familiar. Jim

My dad was the son of Joseph Albert Licklider and Lillie Mae Sillyman. Lillie died at age 27 when Dad was 1 1/2 years old. Joseph A Licklider was the son of Joseph Lewis Licklider and his second wife Martha Eaton Bowen Licklider. There were 4 children of that marriage. Elizabeth Licklider-Glenn-Beckham, George (he lived in Ohio), Martha "Mattie" Licklider-Spurgeon. Mattie was married to Dr. Marion Spurgeon. Dad had a sister Ruth who married Louis Picker and they are buried in the LeDuc Methodist Church Cemetery. Elizabeth and Joseph are buried in the Licklider Cemetery and Mattie is buried in the Bowen Cemetery. Martha Eaton Bowen Licklider is also buried in the Bowen. Joseph L Licklider is buried in the Licklider Cemetery beside his first wife Sarah Jackson.

Hi Sharon,
I would be distantly related to her. Her father was the son of Charles Thomas Licklider who was a brother to my Great Grandfather Joseph Lewis Licklider. Joseph M Licklider and his wife Elizabeth Hancock Licklider are buried in the Licklider Cemetery on Jake Prairie.
