Dorcas Day name is missing
Hi Diana,
Can you add Samuel Day's daughter Dorcas Day born 1801, died 1829 to his list of children? She was
my distant grandmother.
Thank you,

Sparkman HIllcrest (SH) will not provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed to in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request.

You can also go through the SH website at this address:

Click the third tab that says "Other Requests." Fill in the blanks. Where it says: " What is your request in regard to?" use the drop down menu and select "other." In the message put the name and birth and death dates of the person you are looking for and that they are buried at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas, Texas. Once SH has replied, add the information to your photo request.

Thank you for your help.

Corrections made. That is too funny about the coffee, someday I will probably do the same thing with my keyboard. I am always drinking or eating something by my keyboard. If I can do anything more for you let me know. Have a nice day.

Re: Elizabeth (Cline) Stoner
I have made the corrections & links which now show 2 Elizabeths. I can request Mary to add the photo to my memorial but the duplicate would remain, you would have to transfer it back to her in order for it to be deleted, only the original contributor can delete a duplicate memorial, they had to make it impossible for people to request transfers & then delete them, then create a memorial with them contributing which is totally wrong knowing how hard I have worked on finding these transcriptions of cemeteries & adding them, people were getting very upset & I don't blame them, on the other hand I have come across more than a few times like these situation where it involves 3 people, making it harder to correct the situation. I will contact Mary & explain.

Carl Stoppel
Birth: Jul. 1, 1888 (sic), Russian Federation (see text 1868 - also see tombstone)

His mother was b. 1837 and his brother was b. 1857, and I read his stone as 1868, which is much more logical. Also his wives were b. 1867 and 1869 which also adds to the logic. Not to mention his oldest child was b. 1891.

RE: Abraham Bryson
You are welcome! My 9-year-old took the pictures as part of a Webelos scout project, and I uploaded using my email/findagrave account.

We have a weekend place nearby, this cemetery has been one of our favorite stops when we're out. All grave markers at this cemetery have now been photographed.

Do you know the physical location of the old Bryson house or houses? There are a few old foundations on Wheelabout and also on Reeves Hollow.

Emma Dunkerton asked me if I would transfer this person to you and that she was a Stewart. I have not figured out how the Stewarts in Centerville are related, but that is where my family came from, almost in that exact area near the cemetery. I won't transfer any family members to someone else at this time. When I find the connection, and they are not related to me, I will be happy to transfer. In the meanwhile, if you have info that you would like added, I would be happy to add it on the memorial for you. Thanks!

RE: Terry Lyons
Thank you very much for the information. It does look like Ross County is where the judge documents are recorded, I wonder why the marriage certificate says Franklin County. Franklin County is North and Pickaway is center and Ross County is South. Perhaps they lived in one area and married in another so family could be there. Married by Justice of the Peace. I don't know much about the other wives yet as I am a decendant of the first wife and him. At least of the two marriage document both confirm same people date and state.
