RE: James Robert Harvey Davis
Thank you so much for sharing this obituary. I am thrilled to get the information! If you are related to his wife, do you happen to know anything about her father, Dr. Thomas Roughton and exactly where he is buried?

Greetings: You left an edit suggestion for a March 6th date of birth for memorial #94007709. I have searched extensively and can only locate a year. Can you tell me your source? This is my son-in-law's GG and my grand children's GGG grandfather so any information would be wonderful. Many thanks.

Hi,
I got pics today per your request for Virginia A. Hoffman's grave. I added one pic to her husband's page also.
If I added too many pics let me know and I will delete any you don't want, ok?

Re: James Yeager
Hello, Thank you for contacting me, but I should have contacted you before, I made a mistake when I put the photo on it was the wrong one. I am sorry that I did not contact you, and also that you will have to add your photo request again, since I messed it up. I have not done photos in a year and I am still getting used to a new computer and windows 8. Again, I want to say I am sorry for the mix up, it was all my fault. K.W.

Mamie Carl, Longmont, CO
The Cemetery Office has no record of Mamie and no Burial Permit for her. The Longmont Genealogical Society Mountain View Cemetery Book does not list her.
The FindAGrave listing for Frances Schoolcraft Slay has an obit saying she is survived by sister Mrs. Frank Carl of Boulder. There are a couple Frank Carl's in Colorado, but neither has a Mamie Carl with them.
The Cemetery Office said her parents marker may mention that Mamie is a daughter but I don't see it on any of the marker photos online. We have a lot of snow here and more every day, so can't check that out for a while. I am leaving the photo request open in case someelse wants to investigate further.

Valhalla

I was having trouble Thursday night entering memorials. I fixed the duplicate. Web-site was fighting me. They are on the Voss lot. Many Voss family there. Those three markers were behind the monument, off to the side.

I am not saying he is not there. I am just saying the records of the cemetery prior to 1900 are missing and I cannot give you a location of where he was buried. Likely the old sections because of his death date and I already photographed these section and put them in. I am still photographing this cemetery. You never know.

Keep him there. Just be patient. It may be months before I get this cemetery photographed. I am only at probably 40%

Photo Request at Mt View Longmont
I have taken the marker requests that I claimed and will post them a little later this evening. Henrietta Hoselton and her husband did not have a marker but I took a photo of the space where they are. Laverne Schoolcraft did not have a marker either, again I took a photo of the space. I have a very good map of the cemetery and a full index of the names by block, lot and space so I can locate the lots. Laverne is buried with the Mayfields but Lyall and Maezele are with in a few yards of her plot. I didn't ask the cemetery about her because there is a note "ashes" are on the index done by the Longmont Genealogical Society. I did talk to the cemetery about Henrietta to be sure that she was interred in the cemetery. Sometimes the genealogical society listed people in the cemetery because they owned the plots. The cemetery confirmed she and her spouse are there. I checked the Longmont Ledger index and found info you might want checked. The genealogical society has a website http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~colgs/ You can got there and click on the Longmont Ledger and find the index. The index has listings of births, marriages and obits with the date of the paper where it can be found. The Hoseltnons, Slays, Egglestons and Schoolcrafts have many listings. I you want I can check the obits if you want. I will not be going to the library till late next week and I will but Henrietta on my list for sure. I just take of photo with my phone and then type up the obit but if you want I can get you the print out. I give you permission to use an of my photos in you work. Some of the first photos I took were the Schoolcrafts by the way.

Do you happen to have a closer picture of the other two plaques--left side and center-- of those that died in the 1910 flood. (The right-hand plaque is on Find-A-Grave.) Earnest Paul (my cousin-in-law) is reported to be among those that perished in this flood.
THANK YOU.

Dorothy Winterdink
Please correct the error that you made withe the spelling of Dorothy's married name.

The correct spelling is: W I L T E R D I N K.

Marvin & Dorothy Wilterdink.

Also, there wasn't any death date for Dorothy so we put the photo of the entire gravestone into the memorial for Dorothy & both photos for her husband Marvin.

Also, we made memorials (5) for the other Wilterdink family members.

RE: Gary Wayne Gessele - Sunset Memorial
Great, I have added the photo. However, all you had to do was edit the existing memorial and change the burial info in the cemetery section and all of the info would have transferred over to Sunset Memorial Park. No need to delete from one and add to another.

RE: William Calvin Carlton - Mountain View Cemetery
You are most welcome. When I first started photo requests I did not like just one headstone photo. I wanted to see more, so I add 3. When there was no headstone I felt the area had to be shown regardless. It just didn't seem fare that their memorial should be left blank. Thank you for letting me know that you liked it!
