I add those items & will transfer her to you. Renftle family is still on my list to get photos from brother-in-law. He is still going through things of his deceased parents and will let me know when a good time will be to do that.

Hedrick connections
My husband's ancestors John & Delila Ford, along with Jared & Elizabeth Ford & a couple of Stewards started the 1st Meth. Church in Decatur County about 1823. They moved to Morgan County Missouri by 1846, and his direct ancestors in that line include Wilson, Hedrick, Wilson & Larrimore. I know that the Hedricks were in Bates County MO before moving to Morgan. If you know of earlier associations I would dearly love to exchange info!

forgot to mention that there is a photo of John & Verena Renftle on page 90B of the Audubon Centennial Book. My scanner is having problems at the moment, or I'd add it. Maybe you have that book?

I will be adding a couple more Renftle photos tonite, as I had to stop before I was finished last night. So you might want to check for more family members. If you want them transferred to you, I'll gladly do that.

Thank you so much for the picture. I think pictures add so much to the family tree. Would it be all right if I add the picture to my Ancestry tree? Again thank you very much. Lynn Fuller

Raley and Shrank
In case you haven't taken photos of Charles Raley and Mary Shrank at Salem Cemetery Association, if either is a double headstone, please take photo of the whole headstone, as opposed to part of it or just a close-up of the whole stone. Thank you.

RE: Greetings
Thanks Araanna,

I have three drawings that you dad did that you may not have. One is of me when I was about 5, one of my sister and one of my mother. He really had an art talent.

I spoke to my dad (Betty Bowling's Husband) this year and he reminded me of a story of when your dad stayed with us for a few days on our farm. I think he was out of school. He was reluctant to swim in our pond because of the murky water. He was accoustom to swimming pools. I barely remember that visit, but dad remembered. He was also fond of your dad.

send me your email and I'll send you these drawings as an attachment (if you don't already have them).

Your grandfather (Sheldon Bowling) is my uncle. His sister, Betty Bowling (Witherspoon) is my mother. I enjoyed your pictures and comments. I remember Uncle Sheldon very well and always looked forward to visiting him and his family.

I don't know if there are any other Gilberts there. I went for a photo request and took a few extra. Sorry.
