You're welcome. I was just a little disappointed after walking that whole spooky cemetery to not get the pix. I didn't mean to be nasty. I'll probably go back there, again, and get it then. Keep your look-up on here and we'll see. I don't drive that far unless I have a few to do. have a nice day!

Walter W Struck at Evergreen Cemetery
I came across a grave for a Walter W. Struck and made this memorial: 118209619.

Is he related to your other Strucks?

RE: re: Wm Struck
Yes he does. I inadvertently took a photo of it last November while I was taking pictures of Hurricane Sandy damage in various areas in the cemetery including the Civil War vets section.

Today I was going through those photos to pick a few out to send to another website on cemeteries in the Newark area. In the lower corner of one photo is his grave marker with his name and outfit very clearly legible. Since your request is for his and his wife's grave stones, I thought they would be together in a regular plot. And since nothing on his memorial mentions his Civil War service, I never would have thought to look in the Civil War veterans' section. But that is where it is. Pretty remarkable.

I'm posting that photo to the memorial and then go back and take some regular shots without the fallen trees.

RE: re: Struck & Adams
They are in the one in Hillside, Union County, the same one the William and Mary Struck requests are in.

The "Evergreen Cemetery" listed as being in Essex County is actually the one in Hillside. Someone mistakenly created it and you can see there are no details like street address, phone number, etc. It is listed as being in Essex County because Hillside, Union County is on the border of Newark, Essex County.

I'm going to notify Find A Grave before anyone puts their requests in this wrong cemetery.

RE: re:hannah struck-adams
In addition to them, there is a marker for Horace O Adams (1891-1961) and one for James T Underwood (1876-1939) and his wife Grace E Adams (1883-1972).

Feel free to make memorials and requests for them if you like.

Hi Pam,

There were a number of other Bryant stones flush to the ground surrounding the large monument but I ran out of time this evening. Are you interested in any additional family members?

Do you have an idea where this cemetery is located? The area appears to all be private property. I'm happy to knock in doors if need be...
