First, thanks for all the information you post. I was wondering if you could point me to where I can find the information on all the children, I only have three.
Thanks, Kathy

RE: Isaac H. Terhune & Albert Terhune
You are quite welcome! I appreciate your help so much. I have been researching the Terhunes for many years (my Mom was a Terhune). They are a fascinating family!

Thanks for your great work on Find A Grave!

Sarah Perkins Tracy
The birth date and location you have for Sarah Perkins Tracy is actually the birth date of Sarah Tracy, the daughter of Thomas and Abigail Tracy. This can be seen on the vital records for Preston from the Barbour collection, Preston, p. 201

Howard School in Grand Island, NE for Arthur Birk

My husband's grandmother, Maude Leiser, went to school at Howard School in Grand Island, NE. We inherited her photos and one is of the Eighth Grade Graduates of 1907. On the back of the graduation photo is Arthur's name. If you would like a jpg, I am happy to email you one.

Best regards,
Rae Bryant

Hi Karen,
Here is a website with some information on the Weatherford family. You may already be aware of this site, but I wanted to give it to you just in case you weren't.

RE: LTC Valentine Allen
Hi, Karen!
It has been awhile. I meant to write to Cathy, but never have. I made my tree public and have over 12,000 names now. I do have Susanna in my tree, but haven't gone down that line yet.

My wife and I are distant cousins, also! Another weird one is that the three Tuttle brothers, Richard, William and John, who came over on the Planter in June 1635 are all my 9th great grandfathers! Richard is my direct line, John's descendants marry back into Richard's line further down. Now William is the interesting one. He settled in Connecticut. Through his daughter, Anne, I descend through 5 generations of Hurds, then to Maria Beers who married my 3rd great grandfather, Wilmot Lake. His son Henry Lake had Clarence Lake, the father of my grandmother Marion Lake Means! Really a small world!

Hi Mert57, transfer is complete for Mr Weatherford's memorial. If you would email me and remind me, I will make an effort to get there and take a better quality photo of his marker.

cemetery photos
Thought you'd want to know....

General cemetery photos are not suppose to be added on the individual memorial pages. There only 5 photos allowed per memorial (without sponsorship) so that would leave 5 slots for family to add personal photos for the person. See the Findagrave rules:

"How do I add a cemetery photo?
Go to the main cemetery page and click on the 'Add a photo for this cemetery' button. Cemetery photos can include the main gate, the cemetery sign, or panoramic view of the cemetery."

"What kind of photos may be added to a memorial page?
You may add photos of the headstone, of the person, family, or home. Do not add photos of the cemetery gate to the memorial but instead add them to the cemetery's page."

On Memorial # 43189313 you have added 4 cemetery photos (2 are duplicates). You added the same photos to the cemetery page which was great. They are good photos, but you should remove them from the memorial.

Not trying to cause problems, just letting you know what the rules are for those type photos as apparently you didn't know.

Merry Christmas,

Anthony Badgley Grave Stone Clarification

George Badgley is/was my 9th Great Grandfather. I was reviewing your grave note for Anthony Badgley's grave stone.

Can you clarify if the grave stone is for Anthony, George's son, born in 1660 or another Anthony Badgley from 1849 (maybe George's great great grandson?).

Thank you
Jim Catton

Jasper Totton at Griffis
When I pull up Findagrave for Griffis Cemetery, the photo I have posted for Jasper is upright as it should be. Send your email address to me at & I will attach it & we'll see if it goes thru the same way. I have never had anyone tell me before that my photos were posted sideways; if they were that would mean they were uploaded incorrectly, and that is not the case here. Is there something about your computer that is causing this?

Sorry but I'm not understanding your request. The photo I posted, the top picture, is vertical showing the entire monument. Do you want a closer shot of just the name, date, etc? There are already 6 pictures posted which may be the maximum. Otherwise I can email you what you want.
