You agreed with me that Joseph and Clara were brother and sister so I am trying to move Joseph over on a edit. Also do you know of anybody that cleans Head Stones. If we could see the inscription on the stone since it looks that the stone is the same one. I will cover the cost if that is needed.
I changed the spelling on Edgar it was just my mistake.
I have not found Benard yet, I asked the person that took the pic if Benard was there and he said no.

The ones I created are Terry, not Temple. Frank and Pearl Terry are in Cedar Lawn, Crestlawn section, lot 199, graves 7 & 8. James Teeple is in Crestlawn section, lot 224. The locations (i.e. 199 and 224) are not adjacent but, according to the plot map, they are closer than the numbers might indicate. Gertrude and Gordon Temple are the only Temple graves I noted in the book and they are across the street in Memorial Park, Woodlawn section.

teeple joseph & clara
I forgot to say that both seem to have a short life so maybe they were brother and sister.

Do you think Joseph & Clara are somehow
connected because the headstone looks like its the same one? I am going to copy that just in case. I only have 1 Clara on my list. I think I found Edgar in Red Willow Neb,with wife Bonnie and 2 kids Charity both born Ne, but I did not find a grave site. One kid I think was Benard and maybe I found him L A I am looking for Grace Teeple Selbe. You are doing great.

RE: Campbell
If they're not related to you, you certainly may. I'll take good care of them. My dad was born in Smith County Kansas so I have a few relatives still in Kansas (I think).

Catherine Hutson/Lucas/Swoveland

Thanks for all your work, it is invaluable for those trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together! Speaking of puzzle pieces. I noticed you had asked a question on the Memorial of Catherine Hutson regarding if she had been married prior to William Hutson due to the fact the obituary states she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Swoveland, but her last name at time of her marriage was Lucas.

In looking at census info from Blackford County, Indiana and Smith County, Kansas I have to believe that George Swoveland is her father since they both came from the same county in Indiana. I'm having trouble with the connection. Additionally, I do not see a grave in Smith County for George Swoveland.

I have deep roots in Smith County as my mother Sharolyn Sue Sanborn was born in Smith Center and it is where her side of the family came from for generations. My relatives(mostly in Cedar Cemetary) include Hutson, McCormick, Kern, Detweiler, Dillon and Giger.

I believe that we too are related somehow through the Kelling/Hutson line.

I can be reached at

Thanks in advance of any help you could give!

RE: Photo for Ted Nonamaker
Guess what? I did it. I finally did it.
I got back out there to check on the Nonamaker gravestone again and it was in a whole lot better shape than when I went there before. It stopped raining for several days and has been rather warm here. The stone was pretty dirty but at least it was not covered with mud and water running over the stone that was ooozing out of the ground.
I couldn't get the grass down low enough to make it quit casting grass blade shadows on the edges of the stone. But, it could be worse.
If I put too many pictures and you want any removed or arranged differently just let me know.

Yes....I believe the two Alex Sears memorials are the same person. I have contacted the other contributor to delete the "Alex" memorial. Larkin Alexander was the son of Eli and Louisa Watkins as were the other children. I have contacted contributors for those children to connect with Eli. Hope all goes well. Eli's brother John Marion Sears is buried at Greenwood here in Phoenix. John and Eli were sons of Nathan Sears and Nancy Mills. (Am I on the right track here?) Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

RE: Photo
I contacted my cousin in Kansas, Dale Nonamaker's daughter. It turns out this Ted Nonamaker here in Oregon is not her grandfather! So, there are two Dale Nonamaker's floating around! That is not a very common name. They are both from Kansas to boot. She is going to ask her father Dale if he knows if this other Nonamaker branch is related or not.

H. M. "Ted" Nonamaker
I see you made a request for pictures of H. M. "Ted" Nonamaker in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery here in Portland, Oregon.
I am forgetting how the connection works right now but I am related to Dale Nonamaker and talked to him on the phone several years ago. He told that he came out here to Oregon once quite some time ago and I forget why now but it was to see someone and this is probably who, to see Ted?
Dale's wife Donna was a Haines and was my cousin and oh yes, that is the connection to the Nonamakers. Dale has a daughter Brenda and me and her emailed each other back and forth quite a few years ago.
Anyway, I will get your pictures next week. It is raining here now and will until next week.

Hi Betty. I have just gotten an email from Florence Miller and she asked me to mail the negatives to Bonnie. So I will do that today.
I scanned all the negatives and made digital prints which I sent on to Paul many months ago. Hopefully he can share those with you!
Sincerely, Carolyn

Wrong mother and data
You have Abraham Fetrow's children mistakenly quoted.

His first wife was Elizabeth Shambaugh, buried in Dallas Co., IA, in Clayton Cemetery. Janetta was not Mary's daughter as you listed. She was Elizabeth's daughter.

If you want the chart of Abraham's children with dates, please let me know.
