RE: Casey/ Burdett graves
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My memory was way off. It was the Aetnaville Cemetery. I located my photos from the trip in 2002. I have Willis M. Burdett, and a few others, but not his wife, Mary Mercer. Thanks, again!

RE: Casey/ Burdett graves
Could be either county, I am going from memory. I got the location from someone at the Kentucky Room, Owensboro Public Library.

I will do a search here to see if I have photos from that trip.

The cemetery was in rough condition. Just hope it is still there and accessible.

Casey Burdett Cemetery
About 20 years ago I visited a cemetery near Pellville. The cemetery was out of sight of the roadway, up a slight hill. There were several headstones for Burdett and Casey family. Are you familiar with this cemetery? As I recall there were only about 20 - 25 graves. I am a descendent of Lucinda Burdett Crowe.

RE: Moore
Thanks for all of your help, Jane! I am anxious to add family links to these now that I have confirmed they are family members of mine. Incidentally, I visited Lewisport last Thanksgiving, and met some living cousins, so if you can't get the pix, I can write to one of them. Hey, one is a 911-Dispatcher, too! Thanks for the transfers... I will gladly take any from the Moore Cemetery, but just sent another email with more specifics.

RE: Geary's
Hi Jane,
The Geary's are my 1st husband's, who has passed away. His grandmother was Arene Geary who married George Washington Hunter and their daughter Rose married Beckham Wilkerson. I thought the world of Beck and Rose. She was a lovely woman, about 4 ft 11, he was about 6 ft. She was more a mother to me than these mother in law jokes you hear.
Good to hear from you.

No problem, Jane. I appreciate everything you've done and continue to do to help out. If only I had the gas to spare, I'd drive the forty-five minutes and do it myself. Ha! Thank you again.

Yes, I did, Jane. Thanks again! Sorry I didn't get back to you about it before now - been kinda busy the last week or so. I really appreciate it. Hubby's mom was ecstatic over it. It confirmed the family "legend".
