Hi Susan,
Yes, I would like the information for Jane Oliver (Mary 28 and died 21 Jan 1853). Thank you very much.

RE: David Burch #152332761
Hi Susan,

I hope I can give you more detailed information about how the cemeteries are laid out and where David Burch is buried.

Highway 287, is also known as North Cleveland. Loveland Burial Park is on the west side of the highway and Lakeside Cemetery is on the east side of the highway as stated by the Parks email.

Dave & Iona’s burial info:
- Dave’s burial site: Grave 2 Lot 42 Block 10
- Iona’s burial site: Grave 1 Lot 42 Block 10

First, each cemetery is divided into Blocks. I’m taking this from the map that is included in the cemetery book and hope your map the Parks sent you shows the Block numbers.
- Lakeside has the following Blocks: 1-4, 9-12, 16-17, 49-50 A-L
- Loveland Burial Park has the following Blocks: 1-52

Second, each block is divided into numbered Lots and then the Lot is divided into Grave sites (may also be called Site). The number of Lots is determined by how big the Block is. The Grave number may be from 1-8 depending on when the Blocks were created.

You will see that both cemeteries have a Block 10 so you really need to know which cemetery a person is buried in. In Dave’s case, he is buried in Block 10 Lot 42 Grave 2 and Iona is buried in Block 10 Lot 42 Grave 1 and according to the cemetery books they are both buried in Lakeside Cemetery.

You can verify which cemetery by calling the cemetery office at 970-962-2430 and ask them "which cemetery David Burch (1887-1975) is buried in and the burial site info". That is where all the records of burials are maintained for both cemeteries (the Parks most likely won‘t have this info). You can also send an email to asking them the same queston and they will answer your request.

One other place to look is on the Larimer County Genealogical Society website at and go to Lakeside Cemetery, select ‘B’ and scroll down or do a ‘find’ on Burch. It will show you Dave & Iona’s info. If you look in Loveland Burial Park, you will not find their names.

Hope this helps you. Let me know if you have more concerns/questions…..Carolyn

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your response.

I suggest you first change your memorial to Lakeside Cemetery by editing the Burial field, select Cemetery burial and on the next screen start typing Lakeside C... and it will bring up another screen and you can select the Loveland Lakeside Cemetery.
You can then send an email to Find a Grave ( with both memorial numbers and ask them to merge the 2 memorials.

I'm very familar with both cemeteries as both my grandparents and parents along with other relatives are buried there and some day so will I. It's really interesting to walk both cemeteries and read the headstones and am amazed at the dates on the really old stones.

RE: Mrs. Mary Perkins
Susan, I live in the Texas Panhandle, and was visiting my daughter in David City when I took these pictures. If you see any other corrections that need to be made, just let me know and I'll be glad to make them.

RE: Mrs. Mary Perkins
Susan, can you please tell me which cemetery Mary Perkins is buried in? I have submitted names to several cemeteries, and offhand don't remember which one Mary is buried in.
