Sorry, but I don't have any more information on this grave than what I've already posted on the memorial. Good luck in your research!

All set on Margaret Whittemore Godfrey. You are very right on cemetery grave stones. They are often incorect, dates off, names spelled wrong, even there when the body is not. A document is only as good as the person giving the infomation and as the person recording it.

Thanks
Take Care
Stan

Caroline Gerhardt
Gaye,
I have made the correction to the death date of Caroline. I don't know why I put that because of records have 1903 and so does the headstone. Connie

RE: Whitaker/Wilkins
When I first saw your name it reminded me of him and I searched for him here on Find A Grave, and found he is buried at Fort Rosecrans. I thought perhaps he was a relative, I've never known any other Funks.

Are you related to Dr. Albert Funk and his wife Betty? He was an orthodontist in San Diego, died in 2002?

Hi Gaye,

I made the corrections, however Utica is not available in the drop down menu for Winnebago county so I wasn't able to add that.

Are they your family? I will be happy to transfer if you would like. Also next time I am at Greenwood I will try and get photos for you...let me know.

Merry Christmas.

A very LONG but safe trip, thank you! I added Millie's maiden name.

I've been exploring cemeteries here in Ohio. It sure adds new meaning when you're standing at the grave of your great-great-great-grandfather!

Hi. Thanks for the info. Maiden name, birth location and grave # added. If you are family, I'd be happy to transfer management to you. If you aren't family or don't want it but have bio info or obit let me know and I'll be happy to add it. Thanks, Gerry

Then you're a Valley Girl, ha ha! The longer I do this, the more "local" gravers I meet. I wouldn't trade this experience. The give and take of helping each other is priceless.

I gotta get back to work. I look forward to getting more info from you as it becomes available.

Keep me posted.

On second thought...
...because of the age difference, perhaps he was a grandson of theirs?

Keeneys
Hi it's me again. This is just to let you know that I was at Roosevelt today to do a photo request and so while I was there I took photos of the Keeneys' headstones and added them to the memorials. Do you have any idea if the "Junior" that is buried next to them is their son, and if so, what his real name is?

RE: Kansas
Okay, and if there are no choices for that in the drop-down box, I'll just include what you have given me in the bio section.

Gotta go to work now! I'll work on this later.

Take care,
Bonnie

Hello! I added the info and link except for the exact birth location. Are you sure? The system is not giving me a choice of Belville, or Howard Co., Kansas. Please let me know what I should do (just leave it saying only "Kansas"?)

RE: Sunset Memorial Park
Sunset is probably the best cemetery in town (I have kin inhumed there) when it comes to fixing and keeping things up right. I don't think any of them MOW quite enough...and sometimes run over and damage markers when so doing, but I'd think Mr. Whitmore's data should be redone before too long. He's in a place I see frequently so I'll look and get another shot when it looks better.

De nada; you're welcomed. I think this his the worst case of water wash-out I've seen there; I almost didn't see his name at all!
