I changed the birth date to the 11th. I think this is a better source than his death certificate.

Thank you,
Cheryl

I see what you mean. I was worried about the birth date, not the inscription. Thanks

I have rechecked the date and I used 3. I correct it over a week ago. Please check and let me know if it is still wrong.

I used the data below her death date to figure her birth date.

Memorial for Henry Hurd Rusby was updated. I stand corrected concerning Anna Whitmore. Thank you for letting me know about this "grave" error on my part. I do not have the control over the children that were connected to his memorial. You will have contact them about their correct parents.

Gaye,
Was just re-reading some of my messages and realized that I did not do the transfer of these gentlemen's memorials to you. Sorry for a delay, they have been transferred and I hope it helps you with the family genealogy.

Please send me the numbers and I will work at the transfers. It is nice that there are ways to continue a family name.

Hi, you asked me how I got her madden name Howerton? Thats how it is spelled on her death cert. I started taking photos of the headstones in this cemetery after I had a hard time getting them to clean the brush off my Gr,Grandmothers headstone. I seen so many in bad shape & knew that some will be buried in mud or dirt and be lost for good, so I felt that I could try and take photos of as many as I can. Thats how I came to take a photo of her Headstone Then I go look & see if there is a death cert. I add the info thats on them. I am sorry I got her madden name wrong but no fault of mine, I tried my best to add the right info. I only hope is that those that are buried here one day get found by a love one. Are you related? Are you willing to care for her? I thank you for giving me the right spelling, of her madden name. I do this out of love & respect for all those who have lived & now have passed. They are called memorials not numbers to me. Thank you for your concern, it lets me know my work is not in vain. Godspeed Diana

Thank You for the information- with that I was able to track down and link to her first husband. Orange county records had her middle name listed as the last name of the first marriage. Let me know if there is a biography you want to add to the memorial.

Hello. The date is Dec. 6 1875.

The Muskegon County Genealogical Society (I am the Webmaster) is currently working to take pictures of all headstones in Muskegon County Cemeteries. As they finish a cemetery the photos are uploaded to their website. They also are requesting updated records of the cemetery burials. The date above is from the City of Muskegon Evergreen Cemetery records.

I noticed that Charles Roedel and his wife, Jane, were listed with the last name Rodell. I have corrected it. But for research information, this may be helpful.

The website is www.genealogymuskegon.org. Everything on the website is free.

Thank you,
Shelly (St. Mary)

Andrew J. Storz - Memorial 55220857
Well, I found Andy Jr. in the 1930 census and I posted that information on his memorial. I haven't found him in the 1940 census yet, and census records after 1940 are not available for public access. Ancestry.com is full of information on Andrew Storz Sr. but who knows if any of it is correct or not. I don't like to rely on information that isn't tied back to a source record of some kind. One site shows the many "marriages" of Andy Sr....whether he married or not, he certainly was a busy guy. Looks like he might have had the attention span of a housefly. I found Andy Sr.'s parents memorials (42481826 and 42481828) but I can't find a memorial or anything else on Andy Sr. It appears that Andy Jr. might have died in Norman, Oklahoma (Cleveland County) and there are a number of funeral homes in that area that could have taken care of the arrangements, or conversely it might have been one in Lexington or Purcell. I know that none of this is much help, but sometimes we hit brick walls. I'll continue to look.

Dear Gaye,
I post memorials on a continuous basis and then I go back and do research and write bio's when time permits. Unfortunately, I have not done research yet on this particular memorial. I recall receiving this brief bio information from someone who indicated they were a relative of Andrew, so I posted it. Are you related somehow?

RE: The Howard babies
You are welcome! It was the perfect day to walk the cemetery! I also posted a few other Howards. Noted in the comments for Jacob and Lilian. It looks like I missed Clara Howard Simonelli wife of Grant. But also wife of Bartolome Giorgio Simonelli. Let me know if that is correct info and I will go back to take photo. Sandie

Thank you for the extra information. It gave me the chance to learn a little about Italy. They have Municipalities and Provences. I think I listed the correct ones but if you discover something different please let me know. The Ludy family goes back in Temecula history a long way. About a year ago I compiled a book on the Temecula Cemetery, there are markers that still have not been listed on findagrave. So I checked my notes for Catherine, no luck but I will keep looking and make a memorial if I find her. Mary Lavezzari

Gaye, thank you so much for locating the particular information on the passing of Mr. Klink. I'm sure that's the right person, as he was serving in the US Navy in San Diego in 1930 and listed in the city directory as of 1930. And as you pointed out, your source showed the initial "L" for his wife, Lottie. I couldn't find any death information under Ancestry.com-- so I don't know how you did it, but again, thank you so much! Best regards, JD
