RE: Mary Latchaw
You're welcome. It was a COLD morning for being out in the wind, but I'm glad I was able to find the headstone. I'm sorry there wasn't any more information on the stone. It appears she was buried with her husband, but the information was never put on the stone.

RE: James King
King was an officer in a Louisiana colored infantry company, the standard at the time was black troops were lead by white officers. Probably the reason King was bushwhacked and killed in the South. Interestingly the black man charged with his murder was exonerated although he had fought for the Confederacy with a Texas Unit. This same black man became famous later as he was to lead "Teddy" Roosevelt on the ill fated bear hunt which created both the "Teddy Bear" and made Roosevelt a household name.

You are welcome. I Love sharing them. As for winter? I don't think we ever really had one here in California. The trees are all blooming and allergy season is ramping up. We sure could have used a little more rain!

Thank you for doing the memorial. I never would have known where he is buried otherwise. I try to research the memorials that I do even when I'm not related and find their families so they can be linked.

Thank You!

Londa Beachem
Memorial at Storm Lake Cemetery
Thank you for adding the record for Robert Beacham. (actually Beachem) This is my great uncle, and I've had 2 family members comb this cemetery and they weren't able to find the grave stone. I am wondering if you added this from a sexton's record, or if you have visually identified the grave. If you have, my cousins and I would love to have this photographed.

Thanks again!

hello,
there are no edits, i just wanted to thank you for adding my great great great grandmother to this site. once or twice a year we make the trek under the barbed wire fence and into the cowfield, under another fence into this cemetary to check on the stone. i guess you must have done the same since there is a photo of the headstone. thank you.

Yes, a headstone picture would help. Thank you. All indications I have indicates her name as Henrietta, although one could use whatever they wanted. Anyway, thank you again.
