RE: Headstone photo
You're welcome. Her marker is under a huge bush that presented quite a challenge. I wish I could've managed a better photo :)

Actually, I was out for a walk and just saw it in passing and checked that it was the same one somebody had requested. The light was blinding and I only had my iPhone, so I'm afraid the pics are a bit dark. I'll take a better photo another day when it's more overcast!

Joseph Miller
Hi Amy, I went to Glenwood cemetery today to fulfill you request for a photo of the grave of Joseph Lewis Miller, Jr. According to cemetery records he is buried in Section D, Lot 171, site 10. I found the site but unfortunately there is no marker for him. I could post a photo of the marker of Walker Branson in site 4 showing the area where Joseph Miller is buried. But I'll leave it up to you to decide if that's a good idea or if it's better to just say the grave is unmarked. Just let me know, thanks!
Ron

You're welcome, Amy. I did a little checking on Vivian, since it seems unlikely she's still living. I couldn't find anything right off, but I did come across and index of Boulder County marriages. John married Vivian B. Hixson on 24 Oct 1929. You might already know this. (-: Take care, Amy

PS: I did have a similar thing happen once, with a pre-need inscription without a death date, and the lady turned out to be living, at 105 years of age. There was an article in the paper about the birthday party, with a very cute picture of her. (-:

RE: Yancey headstones
You're welcome, Amy. are you researching the Yancey family? There are approximately 26 graves in the Yancey plot. The graves of William Lewis Yancey (1804-1897), his wife Nancy Jones (1803-1887), some of their children, grandchildren and sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. There are 8 children from one family listed on one stone. I took pictures of all of them.

Catherine Howard Photo Request
I saw your request for this stone in Shockoe Hill Cemetery. There are already photos posted. Do you need better photos? I have some that I took, along with others in this plot. There was also a problem posted saying the cemetery location is unkown. It is a very well known cemtery, being the second oldest public cemetery in Richmond.

RE: Headstone picture
You're welcome, Amy. I'm sorry you had to wait so long, someone else initially claimed your request and then let it sit until it expired. At any rate, if you haven't already done so, check out the Online Archives at the Boulder Genealogical Society's website (bouldergenealogy.org). They've done an amazing job of researching everyone buried in Columbia, each person has a page. Some have a wealth of information. Anna Hixson's page doesn't have tons of stuff, but there might still be something there useful to you. Take care, (another) Amy

Shreve Cemetery Leesburg, VA
Amy, I tried to find the Shreve Cemetery today to take some photos, but was unable to find a way to get to it. I found it on the map of where I think it is located, but could not find a road that led to it.
