I have searched the area in Greenwood Cemetery for Ole Ulve's personal stone but so far I have only found the family stone. I will continue to look.

Thank you so much for the reply. I looked up the coordinates on Google and could see the plot in the middle of the field. Of course it couldn't be right off the road because that would be way too easy. I will definitely contact the Historical and Genealogy society's to see if I can ask permission to tromp through the property before hand and if I can find it, I will photograph the bajeebers out of it and any stones I can find. Thanks again!

Hi there. I am planning to visit Archer Cemetery later this year and I noticed you had posted a picture of one of the stones. I've been looking at the location of the cemetery on google maps and I can't see anything that resembles a cemetery, just a field. Is this cemetery in a field that is accessible to people? Or is it on someone's land? Any help you can offer would be most appreciated.

I am laughing but you had no idea. Linda and I are very very good friends. We have sew days at my house working on quilts! We went to Penn together to do Enyeart research. She got quit abit from me regarding William since I had the family Bible. Even she isn't sure of the exact date of birth. I guess I just pick one of them!!!
Linda and I email each other a dozen times a day or more since we live about 30 to 45 minutes apart and it is long distance to call!!! Funny....a very small world indeed.

Sorry for the delay in responding to you. I am having a little trouble. I have 2 numbers with findagrave. I am having trouble combining them so that I only have the one.
Regarding the headstone. Yes, I have the application, etc, even someone that will do the work for free. Since he is a Civil War veteran he is entitled to a tombstone from the government. I have taken pictures of his grave to verify that there is indeed no marker, I know that is where he is buried due to the fact that his wife is there and my grandmother can remember at one time there was a stone for him there. I have his pension records and there is no date of his birth in it. I have Sarah Porter Enyearts family Bible and there is no date of his birth in it either.
Where did you get the date of birth, are you able to verify it.
To bad you are not closer so we could get together and compare notes!

I am more than happy to link Florence to her family! Zindorf is our own special cemetary with many of my husbands family and our own son. ...

I finally got back to Oquawka and found the rest of the Specks. I added a picture of a stone that I think is for the child Catharine who died just before her 2nd birthday. It's very dark but I think that's what the stone says.

I'm glad I could find them, but theirs was the only Speck stone I could find - I know the others are there somewhere!

|Dan & Barbara||Celia Legore|
You are welcome
When I go back there I will try for a better picture for you. Just couldnt get the sun to cooperate with me that day. She is on the same stone with Tennie Legore. I also believe that Tennie was actually Jennie on the marker but will have to double check that also.

I have finally found Mortimer and Addie. They are at Cypress Lawn, their burial cards were misfiled. However, on a sad note they do not have a stone. They are in the Eagles Garden, Lot 50, Graves 2 & 3.

Washington archives shows that they both died in Everett so I will stop by the other cemetery in Everett (Evergreen Cemetery) and see if they have a listing for them.

I went to Cypress Lawn cemetery in Everett, Washington to fill your photo request however, they don't have a listing for them. They said to let you know that there are two other Cypress Lawn cemeteries in Washington state and it is possible that they are in one of them. Sorry I could not be more help.

You are quite welcome. I took several hundred pictures when I was in Iowa 2 years ago before I knew about this site and had't gotten around to resizing and posting them. I keep resizing and posting as they are being requested.

I added William Enyeart to the Marklesburg Reformed Church Cemetery on find-a-grave & was wondering if you would add the picture of his tombstone. (I don't have the software to do that) PS your family tree info for this family on Ancestry.com is terrific.
Thanks for considering this request

Thank you so much for photographing this grave for me. I am 60 years old and live in Iowa & the chances of me getting to Pennsylvania to see the marklesburg cemetery are not very likely.
The photo you took is lovely and the detail is wonderful. I will cherish having it.
Thank you again for taking the time to do this. I hope you know how much it is appreciated.
