 | RE: Helen Collins Tew It must have been divine intervention. The flat markers were buried under sand and pine needles. It was just chance that I stopped and cleaned them off enough to see the Tew name.Added by SGM Bruce Horne on May 05, 2013 5:37 AM | |

 | RE: Thomas L Jackson, Sr You're welcome. As always, I'm just trying to figure it out myself and trying to help get everything as close to factual for all as possible. I understand keeping things as civil as possible for all involved. I honestly didn't know there were two memorials for him. I just went to fulfill the photo request on the other one. I did notice the death certificate only states 'family cemetery' and I completely understand how that in itself creates challenges. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. ~Keith LeeAdded by Keith Lee on Apr 11, 2013 7:32 PM | |

 | Thanks for the Blue Family info! Thank you so much for the death certificates you've given to my mother's (Sharon Blue Adams) side of the family. When my grandfather died in 2004 (James R. Blue), the family name died. My grandfather spoke often of genealogy and I remember him specifically talking about his great-grandmother Cinderella Tew because of the peculiar first name, which would link our families together. I am proud to be an Adams, Blue, Hawley, and Tew! Thanks so much for the info again. You saved me much time and research and answered many questions I had.Added by Nathan Adams on Apr 05, 2013 9:36 PM | |

Michael Tew
 | Jesse Martin Tew He is my great grandfather. I have been doing some research and he and Catherine(sometimes reffered to as Dollie, a nickname that complicated my research) had four children, Jesse Vance Tew(my grandfather), Ancil Pittman Tew, Catherine Tew, and Hazel Tew. I thank you for your research and will probably be taking a trip to Spiveys Corner tommorow with my daughter to see for the first time my ancestors gravesites.Added by Michael Tew on Mar 29, 2013 6:51 PM | |

 | Whedbee grave sites Hi again! I got the photos you needed but in addition to Nellie Bain Moore and Alma Bain Whedlee I found several other Whedbee stones. I'm adding them to Find a grave but wanted to let you know in case you need them for your lineage.
They are: Bessie Whedbee Elise Porterfield Whedbee Haywood J. Whedbee Montroe Lotan Whedbee, Sr., and, Montroe Lotan Whedbee, Jr.
Hope this helps!

Tammy
 | Nellie Bain Moore & Alma M Bain Whedbee You are most welcome! I was happy to update the memorials and I'll also be happy to take photos and upload them to their memorials. I'll try to get to the cemetery tomorrow. Since I surveyed those, I can get out my records and go right to them - no problem. Then their memorials will be complete.
If I can help in any other way, just let me know.

 | Nellie Bain Moore Hi again! All additions made to Nellie Bain Moore. I'm happy to have complete dates. So many of the stones in the section I surveyed just had the birth and death. It's great for all of the information to be here on Find A Grave.

 | RE: Tew - Lee Photos I just remembered that I took a photo of a Tew last week at Barbour's Chapel in Four Oaks, so I thought you might be interested. Her name is Annie Nearl Tew, and I created a memorial page with the photo. I'll keep my eyes open for any other Tews in the neighborhood.
