|SDT||William C. Caseday # 86192222|
Craig,I accidentally duplicated your memorial for William.I had his middle initial, as on the cemetery records,as R. A photo request came through,I see a C. not an R. !! I requested a merge through edit,as both memorial's have a few different items.
This is not my first mistake,but it was not intentional !

|Elle Mauk||Joseph Perry Allison|
Good morning, it appears that your memorial for Joseph Allison (#88122173) is a duplicate of memorial #5529889 at Pleasant View Cemetery in rural Clackamas County. Joseph Allison is recorded as having been buried at Pleasant View Cemetery in Clackamas County, between Wilsonville and Sherwood. His wife Mary, son Robert, daughter-in-law Lillie and grandson Clinton are also buried at Pleasant View Cemetery. Pleasant View Cemetery keeps impeccable records and has noted that Joseph and Mary's marker is missing as of 2006. Please see http://www.pleasantviewcemetery.org/mon-a.htm#Allison, Joseph . I did submit a correction request for the incorrectly-spelled last name for memorial #5529889. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Thanks!

|LaBarrister||La Croy vs. LaCroy and Mr. Burrell|
I am related through Horner and Weddle and I am a cultural anthropologist. I specialize in this type of research.
I just want you to know about a message I left for Mr. Burrell about LaCroy versus La Croy. From research experience, I know spelling variations like this can mean success or failure. The first memorial created does not mean it is THE correct one. Until one spelling is actually proven (with primary citable source) over the other, both should stand. Please keep your memorials intact.
Here is the message I left for Mr. Burrell:
While I agree wholeheartedly with the duplicate memorial rule and I appreciate your attempts to eliminate duplicate memorials, I have to disagree with your statement to another contributor about the LaCroy/La Croy name by virture of which one was created first. One spelling is correct and the other is incorrect so until someone figures out which one is the RIGHT one and proves it (with a preponderance of citable records), both memorial spellings should stand.

Greetings, [Redland Pioneer Cemetery]
I wrote this to another graver, Craig. You are doing OK.
You have created at least four duplicates of the LaCroy family. Your dates are later than the existing dates for the very same memorials by others.
Duplicates are never allowed. The problem that you faced was adding a space in the surname ... La Croy. This does not compute as a new name.
Please remove the following names
(1) La Croy, Baby
(2) La Croy, George
(3) La Croy, Joel E
(4) La Croy, Melissa
Thank you, Martin

Thank you EVER so much for all the work you've done on find-a-grave! What an awesome resource for us. I truly appreciate it. There is an entry for Howard R. Beguelin, #67770659 that has a title of HAROLD R. Beguelin. Is it in your power to change Harold to Howard? The body of the listing has his name correct. Much obliged!

|rjvs1032||Transfer of Carol Sumner?|
I am writing to ask respectfully if you would transfer the memorial for Carol Louise McCormick Sumner (#37815324). Carol was my aunt and my father (Carol's brother in law) died about two years ago. After finding this website, I am slowing trying to link all the family together with information and pictures as I come across it. If you would consider transferring her memorial page, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

|Angie||Francis "Frank" Kettleson|
I'm just wondering if you know if this Francis would have lived in Brainerd, MN in the 1930's?
I am working on a database of alumni for our school and trying to update for deaceased members. This Frank is about the right age. Possibly had a brother, Donald, about 3 years older?
Any help is appreciated. I'm not even finding this family in the 1930's census, so not sure how long they were in the area.
