Banister Photos
Hi! I have recently started my family tree & wanted to say thanks for the photos of the Banister's. Also, do you have a source for those photos or more photos of other members of this family?

My history I have so far is Laborn & Sarah Yoder Banister are my 4th great grandparents, their son David, my 3rd. Leander & Sarah Gross Banister is my 3rd great uncle & aunt.

Like I said, I'm very new to this genealogy world and any assistance is extremely appreciated!

59528514 William Schuyler
Hi there,

I believe your William Schuyler may be related to my 2x GrGr, John William Schuyler (1826-1887), as his family migrated from New Jersey to Ohio. Would you happen to have any additional information on this line?

Also, just out of curiosity, why would a person serve in the military under an alias?

Thanks in advance!

William Leeman #35456447

Thank you for posting the obit for William Leeman, #35456447.

By any chance, do you have a copy of his obit (xerox copy) that you might be able to email me?

I am trying to help a lady join DAR through this line. She will need a copy of the obit itself, not a transcribed copy.

I have 2 subscriptions to online newspapers, but am not finding that newspaper in the 2 subscriptions that I have.

I appreciate anything you might be able to do to help. I am just a volunteer and am not being paid.

Thank you,
Brenda Hare

RE: Cornelius and Sarah Leeman
Thanks so much for the transfer of Cornelius and Sarah (Shute) Leeman, my great grandparents. I really appreciate it. I will definitely leave the links to their parents. That's one thing I like to do is link families together!
Thanks again,

RE: James Lynch
Thanks for the new information! I will be updating my great grandfather's memorial and will include Amanda's information too. I did not realize that Jesina and Amanda were sisters, and am looking at all of the children of John and Lydia. I did find the burial place for Amanda in Calif.

Thanks so much for the added info. I remember Nora well, but I never met or knew of Amanda.

Cheers from Edmonds, WA-

RE: James Lynch
This is very cool! I had no idea Jesina Edwards was the sister of Amanda. (I am thinking she is, since Nora is the niece of Amanda).

Thanks for letting me know, and I will update the memorial for my great grandfather James Lynch. I don't have all the children for John and Lydia (Sharp) Edwards, and would love to know more, if you are willing to share.

RE: James Lynch
Wow! Thank you! Do you have any pictures of her, by any chance? I will be going to moms this weekend and will check through her things. I recall the Leora name from somewhere. Did Amanda Lenora remain in Kansas? James Lynch bounced back and forth between Kansas and Idaho, Washington. My mom was born in Seattle and James is her grandfather.

Please feel free to email me if you would like to share information. Are you a new cousin?

Do you know where the marriage occurred for James and Amanda?

I have no record of them.

Thanks for any additional information you have.

RE: Betts and Dorsey
you're welcome for the pictures. If you are in need of a Baltimore obituary or news article search, give me a yell.
