RE: Beaukiss Cemetery, Williamson Co, TX
Hello - I just now found your inquiry on Find-a-Grave. You were asking about a list of names of people buried in Beaukiss Cemetery. Go to the Find-a-grave cemetery listing and you will find all the names listed that have headstones. Hope this helps.

Vy,
Sorry, but I'm not related. I am a volunteer that does transcriptions of Civil War soldiers from Find A Grave to Sons of Veterans of Civil War database (www.suvcwdb.org). This gives me something to do rather than watching boring TV.

Edit obit please
Hello Vy,
Regarding Pvt James Whitaker, mem #21455710, in Altoona Cem., Wilson Co, Kansas, there are a couple mistakes on his obit: "Regiment One" should be 61st Ohio Infantry, Co. A.

"Golesborough, NC" should be Goldsboro , NC.

The stone was extremely hard to read, but you are most welcome. It is a totally lovely cemetery on a hill overlooking LIttle Beaver valley.

RE: Charles M. Lefforge
Hello!
When I saw your last name, it rang a bell with me. But I will have to look in files to find you. I am sure you come down through a sister of one of my direct lines. I come down through Lewis too and he came down from John L. Lefforge and wife Mary Smith and that is my brick wall.
I will be happy to send photos later but right now is not a good time due to my health. Please just remind me again in a month or so. I think I have a letter too that would be interest to you.
I am trying to help another lady on my mother's side at this time.
I just can't do too much any more and am on oxygen all the time.
I would be happy to have you transfer the Find A Grave sight. Today another gentleman transferred his to me and I was able to add more children.
Thanks for the message and please stay in touch with me.
Patty

RE: John Hammer Ross, in Wheat Ridge, Jefferson, CO
Hello VyAZ Whitaker,

Sorry for the very late reply on your requests. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very long time due to personal reasons.

Per your request I have posted John Ross' grave marker. He is laid to rest with Mary Ross.

You stated in your comment that you think he was in your family tree but not sure. The information you gave me I did not add it. Once you are certain that he is re-send it to me and I will add it for you.

Hi,
Yes, please feel free to use the pictures. I meant to tell you that in the original message, but I forgot.
Always happy to get the families with their loved ones.

Hi,
G.A.R marker is for veterans who served in the Grand Army of the Republic.
Center Grove Cemetery is in Westboro, Atchison, Missouri and you can contact the Rock Port, Missouri court house for information. They will put you in contact with the lady who records many of the graves locations, etc.
Please list all the transfers that you would like for me to transfer to you. I am not related and would be very happy to give them to their family.
I posted all the photos that I took so must not have taken one of the GAR marker.
I am quite a distance from that cemetery and have not been back.

Hi. It appears you have contributed most if not all photos to this cemetery. Do you recall if you shot all the stones available? Thanks.

Oh No, don't be sorry... It could be that I'm not looking in the right place.. but, there seems to be quite a few spots that have no stones... yours wasn't the only one I couldn't find. perhaps one day if I get the sexton out again, we might do better.
