RE: Old Hill cemetery Brazil Indiana
Hi Tamie

Do you know if there is an 1850 plat map of Washington, Clay co. Indiana? If it would show where people lived?
Christina was living at home with her parents in 1850. Her brother George also, who is my gr gr grandfather.

Also, who would I contact to get the stone erected again on Timothy Donohue and Christina. I wanted to see what year she died hoping I could find an obituary on her. I know he died before her. Any ideas for me?

Thanks.

If I enter the cemetery from the south entrance, which way would I go? Right? Straight ahead? Any suggestions?

Yes many old and deteriorating stones. I spent about 20 minutes looking and didnt have any luck. Is there a historical society or does the city have a print out of where people are buried in that cemetery? I wont be able to make another trip there for some time to look again. I think if I had more manpower I could find it if the stone is still there.

Thanks for the directions. We didnt have any trouble finding it.

I cannot find Old Hill cemetery on the maps. Can you tell me how far it is from Terre Haute and how I would get ther from T.H.? I am also looking for Timothy and Christina Donohue's graves. How or who would I talk to to get info. on where they are located?

Thank you.

I have added to his memorial that the death date could be different than his cemetery stone.

Chunn cemetery
Hello Tamie, Thank you for your time and photo's. In the description of Chunn cemetery it states the location east of state road 69, I believe it is state road 63. This may confuse anyone trying to find it. Thank you, Pat

Hi Tamie,
This was my great uncle. I never knew how he died until I found this. You have a picture of the cemetery he is in but there is no picture of a marker. Is there one there? Do you know if the last name was Knoblach or Knoblaugh of the little boy as it says Knoblach but his parents were buried as Knoblaugh. So I am curious about this as well.

Okay, we'll try this again. I sent the first edit, which is her death date "full date" is in the photo of her gravestone.

I'll resend the other two edits. The Shores are descendants of an ancestor and the information is correct. I will resend her parents names. Her maiden name was Knapp.

Now you have me confused as why you would denied the edit since you knew nothing about them. If this is too confusing how about transferring the memorial to me. I don't mean to be sarcastic or mean but I don't want to think I am wasting my time inputting information for someone. Thank you.

Hi, Tamie!

Just checking in. I got caught up in finishing up another tree branch and will get back to the Taylors & Crists in Indiana before long. Great to work with you on those and to meet you!

I was just curious if there was some solid evidence. I also have Mabel Byrnes, and my research supports that family.

Thank you for your quick response.

Alisa
Hiram and William Kress
Hi Tamie,
I am writing to you about Hiram and William Kress whom are buried at Sink Cemetery in Clay Co, Indiana. You have their Memorial pages and I made photo requests for both of them tonight.
I believe they are my Great Grandfathers x4 and x3. Hiram Kress was born in 1795 and died in Indiana. William was a Civil War Vet who was born in 1819-1892, and died in Clay Co, Indiana. William's daughter, Amanda M. Kress Auld, is buried there in the same cemetery, so I think it is the same men from my family tree..
Can you let me add info to their pages and can you please take photos of their gravestones if you are not too busy sometime?
Thank you so much, Alisa A.

John A. Bolin Sr.
Tammie:

On John's memorial page,Find A Grave#-87338812, you state that his mother was Mabel Byrnes.

Can you tell me your source for that name? There is some confusion among family members. Some of the other "family trees" state his mother was Mabel Cox.

I would appreciate a source, to document my research.

Thank you,
Carol Lynn White
