RE: Magnolia
I am going to try to get a cousin of mine to go with me soon to try to locate my great grandfathers grave. Thanks for all the info.

Have a good day.

Hopefully, they will be more helpful for a blood relative.

Thanks!

How recent were you at this cemetery. Is it terribly overgrown? I was hoping to go in search of my great grandfathers grave someday soon. Sounds like I will definitely need others to help me.

RE: Hiya
Good Morning Scott.
Well, it will be awhile, I am going thru some treatments for all the time I spent over exposed to the sun. Have three more treatments and they keep me out of the sun for several days.
Take care, Bud

Would you consider transferring the Maddox memorials to me, they are my mom's family. My FindAGrave info is as follows: Catherine Ford Brown (#46872931)

RE: Stowers Cemetery
Cemetery is located off of Browns Mill Road (Hwy 212) Dekalb County. At the intersection of Browns Mill and Klondike coming from Rockdale County take a left on Klondike. Continue on Klondike about half mile, and you will see a entrance to the Electric Company on your left, turn here, fence is open during regular office hours (this road is not marked in maps). Continue on road. Road will vere to your left. Turn just before office, right, and continue past the office (on your left) buildings, under power lines. Take your next left and go up the hill. Cemetery will be on your right, fenced area, not far off the road in a cleared area.

I gave them to a needy young mother of three. She is a little prettier than you are and gives wonderful hugs. ;-).
Also, she is the mother of our three grand children. She started a business on eBay selling books and stuff. She is helping us to down size.
Take care, Bud

Hi Scott.
I gave all of my cemetery books and notes away. I am in the process of transferring my Georgia memorials to Find A Grave. Spent long enough time on here. I loved the idea of just finding graves, but the changes sure have made it a burden to add stuff and increase mail 1000 fold.
Have fun, Bud

RE: Oakland Cemetery
Scott,

No problem. I just started volunteering there, so it's quite easy for me to look things up and go take photos.

Hope everything starts to look up.

Scott
Hi. Thanks for writing. I have only been going to Westview for about a year and they have the same receptionist. She is sometimes helpful but usually very curt and also threatened to charge me. So I usually have people who submit requests try to get the locations first because I don't like to talk to her. But sometimes I really get stuck and can't find someone so I have to go in and have her point out on the map where they are. She will do it but doesn't seem to enjoy helping me. The Saturday receptionist and the older man that works with her are much more helpful and accomodating. Hope that helps.

RE: Eternal Hills
WE have had no problem going into the office and asking for assistance as to where the grave or graves might be. They usually give me a copy of a map to direct me to the gravesite.

Hey there Scott.
Hope all is going well with you all.
Well, I went looking for it on the net and then meandered around Deshong for a day. It was really neat to find in that subdivision since every lot was well taken care of.
Take care, Bud

Scott I have been to the Lester and taken picture if you want me to fulfill the request from the cemetery. Left it bland just in case you have gone.

Kay Conditt Robertson
Moses Nelson Cruce
Moses Nelson Cruce is supposed to have a CSA Headstone which was delivered to Stan Cruce in Gwinnett Co., GA at his residence to place on Moses grave. I am grgrgranddaughter and I ordered it several years ago. Stan said the grave only had a field stone there. Do I need to contact him to see why it isn't there?

I was wondering if you might know who has the records for the cemetery. My ancestors are buried their, Mims and Olivers and looking to prove that Mary Mims Oliver (1842-1917) is the daughter of Azariah (1810-1890) and Chlorinda Trimble Mims (1818-1908).

Thanks for your time.

Hi Scott, I noticed that on Julia's memorial #45492065, you've posted pictures of her grave, but also pictures of her grandmother's grave (Memorial# 8142898) who has the same name. Did you mean to do this? Just thought I'd let you know, in case you didn't.
