Thank You for your posting this info!
I was just wanted to ask if you saw any graves that might indicate they are her parents. I just found out that this is my great-grandmother and I am trying to trace her Cherokee family lineage.
Thank you much,
Rachel Williams Mitchell

Thank you for the photo. She seems to be there all alone and I'm glad I now have a chance to put the headstone on Sincerely, Jody N.

Thank you, but a photo of the same quality would be of no use to me; unfortunately I have two deceased individuals named Thomas Lucas who I am attempting to identify.

RE: Day Family Cemetery
Hello. Sorry, I have no idea about the Day Family Cemetery. I checked my database and find no Day Family members either.

Hello there! I happen to notice that on memorial # 9206504 for J. W. Darby, you added several photos. The photos seem to be for J. D. Darby instead which is a different memorial...# 72506324. Another contributor has added photos for the J.W. Darby headstone....may I ask you to remove your photos to avoid confusion? I thank you very much! Mary

RE: Rockbridge Baptist Church Cemetery
Good Luck on the job.
There are only 25 requests left there. I hadn't realized that you had claimed them until I rechecked the list, so I might have put some on.
I took over 200 photos yesterdayaternoon and this morning. Only take them when the sun is on them and they are clear.

Rockbridge Baptist Church Cemetery
Well, I thought I would get back into it, but looks like you did too. Many of these photos were put on back in 2006 and 2007, but somehow were deleted. I decided to help a couple out and went over yesterday and this morning.
I am finished, so you can do your thing.
Regards, Bud.

Atlanta Pet Cemetery photos
Hi Scott,

Back in the late seventies, I buried my dog at the Atlanta Pet Cemetery, originally known as Pet Heaven. On the cemetery page, there is a large percentage of graves that have been photographed. Did you take the photos? Also as mentioned on the cemetery page, it is now known as a very dangerous location and I'm afraid to drive in. I have identifying information in case you have other photos.

Thank you for all the wonderful work you do!

Best regards,
Linda Gregg

RE: Lula Sims
Would you still consider taking photos of the other graves in the plot? About four years later, I am continuing my family's genealogy. The cemetery is in Rockdale County, GA, and is at the Smyrna Presbyterian Church, Conyers, GA.
Many thanks!

Are you familiar with this area, or with the story behind the iron gated area? Appears to be no monument there.

RE: Magnolia
I visited Magnolia Cemetery this weekend and what I found was so heartbreaking. Many of the stones were pushed over or broken, and even though the grass was cut, many of the grass stones were covered or almost covered with bermuda grass. There is no telling how many ground stones were invisible due to a little detailed weed eating.

I was not able to locate the grave I was hoping to find.

The sign identifying the cemetery is no longer there.

Very sad.

RE: Magnolia
I am going to try to get a cousin of mine to go with me soon to try to locate my great grandfathers grave. Thanks for all the info.

Have a good day.

Hopefully, they will be more helpful for a blood relative.

How recent were you at this cemetery. Is it terribly overgrown? I was hoping to go in search of my great grandfathers grave someday soon. Sounds like I will definitely need others to help me.

RE: Hiya
Good Morning Scott.
Well, it will be awhile, I am going thru some treatments for all the time I spent over exposed to the sun. Have three more treatments and they keep me out of the sun for several days.
Take care, Bud

RE: Stowers Cemetery
Cemetery is located off of Browns Mill Road (Hwy 212) Dekalb County. At the intersection of Browns Mill and Klondike coming from Rockdale County take a left on Klondike. Continue on Klondike about half mile, and you will see a entrance to the Electric Company on your left, turn here, fence is open during regular office hours (this road is not marked in maps). Continue on road. Road will vere to your left. Turn just before office, right, and continue past the office (on your left) buildings, under power lines. Take your next left and go up the hill. Cemetery will be on your right, fenced area, not far off the road in a cleared area.
