Van Buren
Dear Daryl,

Cornelius Van Buren was my eighth great grandfather. (I'm a bit older) I would love to compare notes and stories. My personal website is I was born and raised in Little Falls, NY so many of the locations and sites are familiar to me. I hope for a response and some sharing of data.

Best Regards,

Nadine (Dee) Van Buren Quinn

RE: Keyes Gravestones
Hi Daryl,

It is very hard to decipher the dates. I thought I had the wrong people when I took this photo as I didn't see Sarah and John's names until I looked closer after I got home. Now that I know where they are I will go back and see if I can get some closer photos and see if I can make out the dates.

So far it looks like:
In memory of
son of
John & Sarah Keyes
who died
Oct 17 1852
17 years & 1 mos

Son of

In memory of
who died Sept _____
8 years 8 mos

I'm not sure if the third stone to the right is John the father or if it was one of Sarah & John's sons as it looks to me like it says "aged 8 years 8 mos" near the bottom. There were some stones nearby that weren't legible at all which may be their own stones. I will have another look and see what I can find.

Keyes Gravestones
Hi Daryl,

I will try to go back and get some better close up photos of the three close-together memorials; I didn't realize they were ones on the photo request list as I didn't see "Keyes" in smaller letters until I got home and investigated my photos a little more closely. Hope these will do for now :)

take care
