|Steven Baxter||Corp Wm Squire|
Please recheck your biography of William Squire, buried in Saint George, UT. He is correctly shown as the son of Phillip Squire and Agnes Parker, and being married to Maria Morrell. His death date is also correct. However, considering that he arrived in New Orleans on 24 Apr 1854, he could not have served in the Mormon Battalion. It would be nice to have this legacy attached to my 2GGFather, but it is not his. (Note that there are both Squire and Squires families that have lived in Saint George since the late 1800s).

|Kent Gardiner||Anna Whitmer Schott Hulet|
Hi, I am related to Sylvester Hulet and this week I found that his name is engraved on Anna's headstone. This seems strange because, as I understand, she left him when he came west and went back to her people. Also his name is misspelled on the marker. Any thoughts from the Schott family? Kent

|Christine Eggett Payton||Grix family and Susannah Eggett|
I live in England and am part of the Eggett family which originated in Norwich in the county of Norfolk, England. Members of the Eggett family who were my great great aunts and uncles - Mary Ann and Thomas were Mormon converts and travelled to utah in the late 19th. century. Their youngest sister also travelled from Liverpool to New York with Jonathan and Sarah Grix. She was also listed on the 1870 census in their household. After that we can find no trace of her - no marriage or death records. Do you have any ideas?

|Colin E.||Pvt David Pettegrew|
Do you think your David Pettegrew in Salt Lake City cemetery could have had another wife? My 3ed GG Elizabeth Atterbury Edwards is purported to have married him as her 3rd husband sometime after 1845. According to the SLC Cemetery records, she is buried in Plot B-5-9-5EW2, born in Chester, Carolina on Aug 30, 1790 and died July 16, 1858. Her 1st husband, a Mr Hudspeth, died in Alabama. Her 2nd husband, Thomas Edwards (my 3rd GG), stayed in Illinois when Elizabeth west west in 1845 or 1846. Colin Edwards

|Rolaine Grant King||Lee-Lawson cemetery|
Since only one person is listed as in this New Harmony Cemetery it might be the right time to change the name of the New Harmony pioneer cemetery to the Lee-Lawson cemetery, It was on Lawson farm land but fence around it and upkeep is done by the Lee family on the farm now owned by Pace's, converts to the Mormon church with John D Lee the missionary who brought the message to them.

|Richard Stauff||RE: Re: San Juan Bautista Cemetery|
I meant that was how the name was spelled in the Cemetery… not necessarily how the family members might spell it… As you know, searching alternate spellings produces results… If the names, locations and dates line up, you've probably found 'em!
Some families would go generations without knowing how to read or write or spell their names, such as my ancient Italian ancestors… I've learned that "set in stone" data is not always true with cemeteries' records and inscriptions, or other references. But you know this, too. Again, I'm glad to help!

Actually, the name is spelled Willcox. (Double L ). You'll find the other family members there (with several duplicates) under that name spelling with marker pics to prove. Glad to help!
