Thank you so much for the transfers, I had bios to rewrite and links to adjust and it sure made the job easier having maintenance responsibility.

I understand. Can you perhaps enter a note then on each of the memorials in the bio section that they are duplicates of each other?

Montgomery's
While trying to get information on Asenath (Montogomery) Cross who married my uncle, Sherman T. Cross, Sr. on 4 June 1914 in Evanston, Cook Co., IL I came across the Find A Grave memorial for her parents.
I saw that you managed their memorials and was wondering if you had any information on Asenath.

RE: Transfer's
If you see anything where Betty Frank has uploaded a Clare County, MI Obituary Scan. Please transfer those to me or to her! That way... She can enter the Text of the Obituary in the Bio section & removed the Image out of the Photo section.

Note: I'm assisting now getting several of these Scans typed & uploading them on a Site at this link... https://www.facebook.com/groups/148703035474454/

its for those who are interested in Clare County Genealogy/Historical Research.

Thank You!

Note: regarding Mildred Anderson
Note: I'm now working with Betty Frank & I guess Findagrave Admin has been removing her Obituary Scans out of the Photo section & wants the text in the Bio section. Thank You! for the Transfer!

RE: your welcome
Thank you for the offer but since they are not a close relationship to me, I will leave them alone...at least for now.

OK. I am a GROOMS family descendant and I know who these GROOMS people were so I hoped that I was finding a "cousin". Thank you for you quick reply.

I had asked if the plaque is her headstone or grave marker.
And, if you have a plot number.
And, if you would transfer this memorial to me.

Howdy,
I am of the Rice line and ask, is that her headstone or grave marker? Do you have a plot number?

Will you please input data:

Born 1841 Trumbull County, Ohio
Died 28 May 1912 Saginaw County, Michigan

Parents:
Lucian P Rice & Lavinia Hayes
Spouse:
Theron E. W. Adams

If you would like to transfer her memorial, I would be glad to manage it.
Thanks much,
PJ Miller

Alice Jane Ames Bower (# 34578116)
Thank you for this transfer; she is my great-great-grandmother! I wish I could find her husband though! Don't think it is any of the ones in Wildwood. I rechecked the censuses and I don't think we know that his middle name was Henry, only that his name was William H. Bower and that he was born in Oct 1836 and died sometime after 1910. We found a death certificate for a William H. Bower b. Oct 24, 1835 and d. Jun 20, 1918 but those dates don't match up with anyone listed in the Wildwood Cemetery (also the census says his parents are from Germany & Pennsylvania and the death certificate says they are both from Holland) and the Bower with the Civil War tombstone died in 1921. And Alice isn't even listed on the Wildwood Cemetery site, although I guess that could be a mistake, but it makes me wonder if she is actually buried somewhere else. Alot of mysteries!

I believe her husband is William Henry Bower. Could he be the one buried in plot "Center-F-233" at Wildwood Cemetery, Chesaning, Saginaw County? Do you have the location of her burial plot? Do you have any way of checking to see if she is buried beside him? I believe her husband's dates are b. Oct 24, 1835 - d. Jun 20, 1918.

Looks like his tombstone is for a Civil War Veteran and doesn't look like it has any dates on it. You can see an image of the tombstone on this site: http://www.usgwarchives.net/mi/tsphoto/saginaw/wildwood/wildwood-b.htm

I didn't know she was still with us. I had a memorial transferred to me and it was "In her memory" so assumed she had passed. Thanks for the message. I found her number on another contributor's page.
