Hi, Wendy. I'm just back from trips out of town, so am very behind on my findagrave hobby. It will take me a bit to review what I had sent you, to pick out highlights if you want it to be short, or to embed hyperlinks if you want to keep it long, the links letting everyone else can find the part they want with a click. I favor long but am flexible.
What do you regard as direct contact, (A) using the Findagrave Edit as done before, which then sends you an email with a copy to me, and which is what many seem to prefer, or (B) contacting you without Findagrave as the middleman, using the email you specify?

You are welcomed!
Did you know that there is an "Edit tab" on each memorial where you can make request for changes?
Only problem with it is that I haven't found a way to get an email about notification requests for edits like I do for messages! So it was just as well that you posted the message instead!
For future reference, it would be helpful to add the # of the memorial along with the name of any memorial you need editted.
If you are related to the Olin's I'll be happy to transfer them to you. Just let me know.

|BBW||RE: David Burgess & Elsie E. Works|
I am not related, so I have no direct knowledge. According to online family trees, she was born in Oct 1850 in Vermont, and died 7 Jul 1921 in Orleans, Vermont. They show her middle name as May, and she was the daughter of Benjamin Works and Calista P. Earle. They show David Burgess' middle name as Elias.

Wendy, I understand what you are saying but if you Google the cemetery you find that its address is listed as Topsham. I understand about Barre. I lived for many years about 5 miles from the cemetery in Bradford. Drove Rt 25 almost everyday to go to Barre where I worked. I attended many a funeral at the Waits River Cemetery and never gave it a thought till recently I happen on see that on Find A Grave that they list it as being in Waits River. Therefore I wondered until I saw a message post of yours I did nothing. Not of any great importance but I had to get a second opinion.
Have a good evening.

Nothing to do with any of your posts, simply a question. Isn't in fact the Waits River Cemetery in Topsham? I lived in the area for many years and always thought that to be so.

|Jeanne Thomson||RE: Carters as in-laws|
I'm sorry, my brother-in-law was not a Carter. Just a much beloved nephew.
I know Elbert Carter's family immigrated from Quebec when he was a child. His father was William Joshua Carter. I don't recall any conversations about Ireland, but I'll ask my sister.
Uncle Elbert went quite deaf (I think as an adult, but don't know that for sure.) Do you know of deafness in any one else?
Anyway, his wife Agnes was wonderfully loquacious enough for both of them. Jeanne

My sister Mitzi is the blonde girl with pigtails on the right of our beach picture. She lives in Nashua and up at Lake Winnepausaukee summers. They've been married 50 years now :0)

Thanks for adding the info to Ernestine Carter's Memorial. Elbert & Ernestine Carter are aunt & uncle-in-laws of my sister. When she & my brother-in-law met & married, all his NH relatives were very sweet to both of us. Were thru the years. I've been doing their genealogy to remember them, for my niece, and grandnephew who just turned 16. He has really interesting ancestors! Jeanne/Contributor #47435319
