57144043 - Chaz Decker
I am a friend of Chaz' mother, Sherry and she would love to see his obituary posted on his page. There is another memorial for him that does have it. Is there any way that you could place that on this memorial. I have several pictures of Chaz also and his mother wants them posted as well. She is heartbroken at the loss of her son and just found out about the Find A Grave site. She visits his grave often but would like a place that isn't quite so sad.

Hello, I am the great-grandson of these two, and would like to know if you have any information on them. I would especially like to know if you have any information on John Tyler "Johnny Frank" Carroll. Thank you.

Thank you for your input. It's always nice to meet a self appointed Find A Grave policeman. For your information, when I do not show a burial place it is because I am still searching for it. If you think mine are bad perhaps you should look at some of the other folks who post on Find A Grave, showing no names or dates. My memorials are pretty much up to date but again, thank you for your input and may you have a blessed day.

RE: Memorial#50336537 Ortha Burnett Turner
I'm just not in a capacity , for the time being , to really wrangle things on Find-A-Grave.

My other issue , is not being 100% sure of her indentity , I don't want to clutter the interweb with even more mis-information.

Thank you for your considerations all the same.

Hi Glendora ~ I really have no use for the transfer , wasn't looking for one anyway. I was just curious if you knew any further information. I didn't mean any sort of insult or anything , just trying to figure out some family tree blanks.

Memorial#50336537 Ortha Burnett Turner
I was just curious to know if you know anything about this person. I think it might be ORPHA Burnett , a woman once married to my Great Uncle Roy Bullock. "Orpha"s parents are buried in the same cemetery.( James Burnett & Sarah Haycraft.) Coincidence?

I only know she was married a few times , my great uncle , Charlie Coats , and then I lose her after the 1940 Census.

May Flowers
John VanMeter, Marengo Cemetery, Indiana

I went to the Marengo Cemetery today and I could not find John VanMeter. Sadly, there are many grave markers in this cemetery that are no longer readable. Many of them have crumbled or have fallen over and are buried face-down in the ground. I found a few VanMeters, but none were the one you wanted. If I get to that cemetery in the future, I will continue to search for John.

On a side note, I noticed that you have Dunn in your family line. So do I. Do you know if you are related to Ruben Dunn, 1929-1979, son of Daniel Hillary Dunn and Betty Meredith of Edmonson, Ky?

We went over this already on Feb 5th. YOU had the name spelled wrong on your memorial that's why it didn't come up on my check when I made the memorial. I have emailed Find-a-Grave administration and explained the problem. I will abide by their decision. NOT yours.

re: Darthell Davis
Thank you so much for letting me know I had created a duplicate memorial for Mr. Davis. I have sent the bio as an edit to the original memorial owner, and I've deleted the duplicate. I really appreciate the heads up. I think the collaborative aspect of FindAGrave is the best part. :)

On Henry Bean and Henry A. Bean I thought you would be interested in "their" story. The Pension Bureau had quite a time establishing exactly who served. One enlisted but one or the other, at various times. Henry said the other one Henry served on a "subscription" basis for him then he came and took over.
