|gclodgo||rogers in bethel|
Hi, I have been trying find out about my husbands Rogers line back in Vermont, but it gets confusing. Roene Olive Rogers married Franklin Pierce Maxham. She was born about 1853 in Bethel I think. I think they stayed in the Bethel area. Her father is listed as David.
Not sure which David? I think his wife was named Lucy.
There is a Daniel married to Plausipine...who I think is his cousin or just another Rogers. But I know I found that a Rogers married a Rogers and that was confusing, as was the Samuel that seemed to marry his deceased Uncle's wife. Some of these Rogers might have come from New Hampshire. I think Lyman was a brother to one of these, perhaps even all of them? Samuel married John III's widow I believe...but I don't have the info in front of me so am going off memory. There are also Norris's...and Wentworth. I think she is the one who married John III and then Samuel.
Mainly I would like to pin down the parents of Roene Olive...who had a brother named Omar or something like that? One place seemed to indicate that Daniel was her father. There were several Daniel Rogers in Vermont in that area in the 1800's. So...is David or Daniel her father is my main question.
Do you know these Rogers from Bethel? Are they related to William Jarvis Rogers?

LTC Roy Duane Wike has two Find-A-Grave profiles. I was wondering if you could put his headstone photo that you took and put it on his other profile:
Much appreciate it.

Your Very Welcome, Its always a pleasure to help those who help others. Already had his gravestone photo in my files anyways, Makes it easy when I don't even have to leave the house. He's also connected to my tree so I'll let you know when I come up with other photos you could use.
