|Ann Koch||Alma/Ada Calkins|
This below SSDI record for Ada Calkins shows the same dates as what I could make out on the headstone you photographed for Alma Calkins. I'm guessing that she went by the name Ada but her baptismal name was Alma. What do you think? Ann

You mentioned "Clearing the cache." How is that done? I know about "refreshing" a page but not clearing the cache. Ann

Hi! Jerry, could you please look at the photo you took of this infant's headstone (37910807) and tell me what you think her first name is? I can't find a death record. So far there is a Batie and a Katie listing for her on findagrave. Thanks! Ann

Hi! Geraldine, I'm running into a number of listings with photos that I can't seem to open up. I'm clicking on them and also refreshing the screen ... nothing seems to work. Any ideas? I'm working on turners right now.

Hi! Jerry, this listing "appears" to have a missing headstone photo. It shows your name in the location it normally would appear if a photo was there . . . but it isn't! Can you check on it for me? Thanks! Ann

|Mary Ann Dunwoody||RE: Lot Sutton|
You're more than welcome. Are you related to Lott Sutton? My family has always spelled his first name with 2 L's. He is my 2nd great-grandfather through his daughter Eliza Jane Sutton (1854-1931), and her son Platt Preston Ring, my grandfather and my mother's father. If you are related to Lott, I'd love to communicate with you to see what kind of "cousins" we are.

|Jodine Bergen||Burkhart photos|
Thank you for taking photos of the Burkhart family graves in the Dayton Cemetery. I had a great aunt who was married to Charles Burkhart. Charlene was their daughter, so I am most disappointed to find out that she has no marker. I appreciate the information and area photos that you have provided.

I looked again at their death cert which both state they died in Phelps Co, Mo and both just say buried at Dillon Cem, which is what the Wishon Cem is also sometimes called, but noticed that his father was in the Dillon Cem in Maries. They aren't that far apart, so I bet you are right, I will edit them, thanks.

|Desi||William W Black|
Hi I talked to the cemetery people and they said this cem. was abandoned for about 60 yrs. before they took it over. William has a stone the others don't. On the back side of Williams stone are 3 other peoples names. Charles R Bradley, his wife Minerva J Bradley and their daughter Lucy I Brown. There was also a small stone next to the Black family and all it says is "Mc D" The man I talked to said a H. Black originally bought the 4 Black plots but didn't know anything about the Mc D one. So Probably not family but thought you might want to know incase you came up with someone.

|Raye Swanson||Mrs. Hilah Long|
Just happened onto your picture of the grave of Mrs. Hilah Long. I spent several summers in Dayton while my husband was logging. Hilah was the mother of John Long and he and Garrett Long had the grist mill towards Waitsburg, WA. I spent many hours at the library and got a list of Rauch and Long graves from the cemetery records and searched them out. In Blk A, section 1, lot 90 it listed a Mrs. Long. There was nothing there. I went back another day and checked to see the other grave names and went back and found them. I could see just 5" of a stone that was buried. The ground was soft, I dug it up and there was my Hilah Long! I went back to Clarkston, WA and my father Carl Milton volunteered to build a frame, bring some cement over. I checked with the cemetery and they liked my plan. So we raised the stone above grass level and although it's a bit crude we preserved her stone for future generations. Thanks for your picture. Rest of story, she must have been buried somewhere else previously because the records say she was buried there in 1890. I have not been able to find an obituary.
