I would love to take over this cemetery. I am a direct descendant of nearly everyone in this cemetery.

grave marker for edwin d. kahler
I SEE HERE THAT THE GRAVE MARKER FOR ME, EDWIN DOYLE KAHLER, YOU FOUND IN THE BURKE CEMETERY IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS, HAS BEEN MISUNDERSTOOD. I AM ALIVE EVEN IF OLD. THE DATE OF OCT. 28, 1935, IS MY BIRTHDAY. THE MARKER WAS PLACED TO RESERVE THE SPACE FOR ME WHEN I DIE. THIS IS A FAMILY CEMETERY AND I SUPPOSE THE SPACES ARE NOT RESERVED FOR ANY PARTICULAR ONE AND I WANT TO BE NEXT TO MY MOTHER, FATHER, AND BROTHER. HOPEFULLY YOU CAN CORRECT THE INFORMATION I FOUND HERE.

Flora Carmichael #22662871 Greenwood Cemetery, Ft. Worth, Tx.
Hi Paula, Thanks so much to you and your mother for all that you contribute on Find-a-Grave. You have photographed the entire plot of my Pendery-Carmichael Family in Greenwood Cemetery. I see the individual sites - do you have a site photo of the entire plot? That may be hard to do and show anything.
When I found my grandmother, I wrote a note - and then when I did not find it, I got carried away and there are several now. Is it possible to delete all but one?
How would I go about entering more bio information? For instance, Flora had 5 children; there is only one listed.
Thank you for your info and your reply.

Permission to use photos
Paula,
I hope things are going better for you & your family. This may seem like an odd request, (especially since you initially took a number of photographs of our family headstones at Greenwood at my request), however in view of all the issues concerning people 'stealing' photos from Find a Grave & using them in violation of copyright laws without the permission of the photographer, I wanted to ask your permission to use the various family headstone photographs in my Ancestry tree (crediting you as the photographer, of course). Some that you have taken include: Find A Grave Memorial# 44161185 for my great grandfather, Charles Washington Miller & his wife Mary Melissa Bowman Miller; Effie Mae Miller Anthony & her husband Albert Sidney Anthony; Ethel Badger Turnpaugh & her husband Walter Scott Turnpaugh Jr.; & Harry Turnpaugh & his wife Nellie Turnpaugh. I'm sure there are others than I'm not listing, but my request is for permission to use any of the photos which you have taken, crediting you as the photographer. Many thanks & take care, Kim Turnpaugh Anderson

Leatherman request
On April 7th, 2014, I sent you two emails regarding your entries of brothers Marvin Lois & Granville W. Leatherman requesting their links to their parents.
Nine months & 18 days have passed since that email.
Your note back then said you were working on catching up on requests.
If you can not make the changes initially suggested, I request that you transfer their entries over to me so I can manage them.

So sorry
Hi Paula,

I'm so sorry to learn of your mom's illness. I'm praying for a good outcome for her. I'm sorry too for your loss of your job; that seems to be the norm these day. I was laid off in Jan 2013 and tried for over a year to find another job. I finally gave up.

There's so much support on this site; I don't know what I'd do without the friendships I've made here. I hope you're getting some of the support you need as well.

Sue

Newt Stewart Tombstone Photo
This photo is on the wrong memorial.

The photo for Newt Stewart, Find A Grave Memorial# 10165148, is actually on the memorial for John Spence, Find A Grave Memorial# 10170803.

Please correct.

Thanks

Madeline Crimmins Williams
Just noticed that the photos for her in Greenwood, don't match the memorial. I think the photos go to her mother? Madeline Crimmins? Wife of Fred T. Crimmins.

Photo Use Permission
Hello. My name is Walter Allen and I live in Early, TX. I am a member of the Pecan Valley Genealogical Society in Brown County. Our Society is undertaking an indexing of all Brown County, TX cemeteries and maintenance of a searchable database for family research in our county. I have been assigned to complete this project for the May Cemetery in May, TX. I can see from Find A Grave that you have photographed many of the memorials in this cemetery and, of course, hold copyright for the photos.
I am requesting permission to use your photos for this cemetery in our project. If you would give this permission, just reply to this email stating permission to use photos for the May Cemetery. I sincere than you for considering this request.
