You are very welcome for the photo of their memorial. I live close to this cemetery, and go there, as time allows, to photograph as many as I can. And as I can I restore/reset/relevel some of memorials.

Some of the family moved down to ARkansas. WE are having a Bennet Cousin Convention there Oct 12 if you would like to attend. Or let me know if you want to be on our mailing list. Always exciting to find new cousins! Charolette

Hi Brenda: I am descended from John's sister Martha Mattie (Bennett) & James B Wilcox, my second GGP. I have a file on Ancestry.com kasterentirefile which you may wish to review and please use whatever you want. They were early pioneers in Dallas County, Iowa. I now live at Lake of the Ozarks, Mo, but most of my family is still in Iowa. Have a good day, Charolette

Hi Brenda: First let me say you have done an excellent job with FINDAGRAVE memorials and I appreciate your efforts. I am interested in the pictures and any other information you may have on the John Bennett b Feb 20 1809 and died Sept 4 1881. Is that a picture of him and his wife, if so I would love to have a copy for my file? His father William and mother Mary Margaret Good are my 3rd great grand parents. I also read about a Bennett book you have published. Is one available for sale? You may contact me at my email address c k a s t e r 231 @ aol.com (without spaces). Thank you so much. Charolette

|Forget Me Not||Thank you|
Thanks for the nice note Brenda. Things have calmed down and I feel like we are getting back to normal. I have finished updating the memorials from summer requests and am only 2 days behind now. Hip Hip Hoory! I like your profile contents and wondered if I may copy the wording about the transfers. Could not have said it better.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Just wanted to let you know that I have added photos for Frank & Eva's memorials in Clear Creek Cemetery. Sadly, Eva's death date was never completely added to the stone.

First, let me say I am sorry for your loss. She sounds like a wonderful lady. I have added the family collection to the photo info. Yes, I expect most will eliminate the living people from the obits. Thank you for taking the time to get back to me, and for all you do for Find A Grave.

I have added the photos to Oliver's memorial also. Thanks for pointing that out to me. That is something that I would normally have thought of doing at the time, but have overlooked it.

|Frank Merriman||RE: Eliza Jane Archer Lanam|
I'm so glad that you posted the marriage certificate because I was not aware that those images were on FamilySearch.org. Family Search is where I find a lot of things but I didn't know about the images or I never paid attention to them before. So, now I have a lot of images to look at. I guess I have tunnel vision.
Since you updated, John C. Engel posted the obit for Eliza Jane and it looks like she actually died in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa and then they brought her back to Indiana to be buried. So, I appologize for having the wrong death place. That explains why I didn't find her on the 1920 Census in Brown Co. Also, an earlier Census shows the daughter's name as Ula O. But, the obit gives the name as Opal Rogers of Trevlac (misspelled as Tradllac). So, maybe the "O" stands for Opal. I have found her marriage record as well and I will try to find out where she is buried. I've actually heard of the name Opal Rogers before. My uncle lived in Trevlac. Also, do you know where William W. Lanam is buried or where Eliza Jane's mother Emeline (Hupp) Archer Harshey is buried? We now have all five of Henry's and Emeline's children linked to them. Thanks

I have transferred this memorial to your care. I had taken a photo of it while hunting family at the Chambersville Cemetery. It is a very unique stone. It appears to have flowers in it. Do you have any idea of the history of the stone?

The reason I asked you about Bessie was well, she just popped out at me when I was searching All of the Allgoods on F.A.G. The Langley name goes way back on my Allgood line to a woman named Jane Langley Born 12 of Nov.1756 Wolverhampton Staffordshire England. She married Read Allgood.They are my 4th great Grandparents. They named their son Langley.So when I see the Langley name along with Allgood I notice! Is Langley Bessies maiden name? There are many men in my Allgood line that have Langley as a first name. What is the name of your Grandmother Allgood?

I love your transfer management philosophy ! It is about the numbers ! I have asked for transfers of my Allgood family. I have asked for corrections too, but all I get is " I am not your personal genealogist" and other real mean things I can't say here. Is there any help out there ? I feel like I have been stepped on. Anyway I noticed all your flowers on a memorial. Bessie Langley Allgood and was wondering if she was your relative? I am always trying to learn what I can about the Allgood family.

Brenda, Thanks much for the update. Frank and Louisa are the Gr-grandparents of my cousin who got me started in genealogy many a year ago. She was Karen Ingram Heckler 1948-2012 (90058259). I try to add more information to her family line when I can. Their son was Plennie (75748994)his wife, Mary (75748994) and their daughter was Eva Chase Ingram (75749301)...Karen's mother.
don't know if you are interested in making all the connections...but I just wanted to lay it out there.
Thanks again for the update.
