|Art Currie||Short - Woodland Cemetery, London|
I have photographed the Short tombstone in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario. As you can see it is a surname only. When the local genealogical society catalogued the cemetery 30 years ago they showed a footstone with his name on it. It is totally covered up with sod now and I could not locate it.

You are welcome. I have been working on the Walker family in Ingham Township this past few days. I am related to some of the lines. You may want to check some of the others in Fairview. The obituaries sometimes give you more useful information.

|richard green||charles a green|
Hi Dusty. I'm looking for the parents of Charles A. Green, my great grandfather. I believe he may be the son of either Benjamin or Joseph Green. Charles was born in 1817 in N.Y., bought a farm in Argentine Twp, Genesee Co. Michigan in 1836 and then moved to Montrose Twp, Genesee Co. around 1875. He married Rhoda Packard, daughter of Hervey Packard, at Plymouth Michigan in about 1844. Do you have information about either Joseph's or Benjamin's families? Thanks, Rich

|Ron Boerst||Jacob Colman|
Thank you! I have searched for a long time for information on Jacob who is my great great grandfather. You did much to clear up info on his past. I am wondering where the name Colman came from and am stumped at that point. Thank you again for doing what you do.

|Dottie Gingerelli||RE: Snyder photo request|
You're very welcome! The marker is a lovely dark black, and it is also under an old shade tree, so I was very relieved to be able to get a light enough photo for the memorial. ;) Dottie

I called the Fairview Cemetery clerk in Dansville, Michigan and she could not find Johnson Stuard or his wife in the burial records.
Could you tell me the source of your information.
Johnson is my 2nd great-granduncle.

|Diana Popp||Fred J. Stolz headstone|
I was walking through Forest Lawn visiting some graves and took a photo of the headstone for Fred J. Stolz 1897 - 1985 # 68403722. I have uploaded it to your memorial. It also is the headstone for his wife Fredia Stolz. I didn't find a memorial for her. If you set one up for her, feel free to use the same photo.

|Kirk Groeneveld||Oak Hill Cemetery Map in Owosso|
Thank you for adding the map of Oak Hill Cemetery in Owosso, Michigan. That helps locate and visualize where we should be looking. Now if all records in Find A Grave would use the cemetery coordinates, it would be so much faster and easier. Thank you again, Dusty Road.

|jwflutterby||Beulah B. (Diamond) Hickey|
If you'd like, I ran across a PDF that contains her obit from the Argus Press. It is out at http://www.mycdl.org/cdl/newsarchives/obituaries/obit-1992-argus.pdf and she is the first entry on page 74. According to the obit, she was married very briefly to my maternal grandfather's father. My grandfather and his wife are the other two Hickey's on that same page. I remember her attending Christmas Eve parties at my grandparents' house in Corunna and I have some pics of her. Let me know if you want me to scan them for you or anything...

|Cathy Milioto||Phoebe Smith Butcher memorial|
I went in and added the information you suggested to Phoebe's memorial. I am related through Phoebe's sister Mahalia who married Norman Hopson whose daughter Julia Ann married my Uncle Daniel Pearsall whose daughter Doris was my aunt through marriage to my uncle Donald Jones.
A long connection to me, but a connection nonetheless. Thanks for the suggestion.

That is so kind of you and I appreciate it very much! I hope you have a nice trip and good weather for it.
Thanks for the tip on the obituaries. I tried locating them, but all I keep coming up with images over at Ancestry and I don't currently have a membership there. The search goes on! :-)
Thank you again for everything,

|Robert & Christine Stom||RE: PEARSALL HEADSTONE PHOTOS|
Yes, I do still need them and would be thrilled to have them. Thank you so much for your very kind offer. It is much appreciated!
There are actually 3 others I could really use photos for, as well. Would it be stretching the bounds of politeness to ask if you could check on them as well? I'd be so very grateful.
I live in Oregon, so it's not really a possibility for me to do this and I sincerely appreciate the help. Edgar & Mary Ann Pearsall were my 3rd great grandparents. I would also love to see Harris J. Wood, who was my 2nd great grandfather.
These are the folks I have who I'm in need of the photos for:
b. Apr. 26, 1842 d. Feb. 11, 1892
Hopson, Mary Ann Dandison Pearsall
b. 1843 d. 1930
(I'm not sure if her headstone would be listed under Pearsall or Hopson. Her name was Hopson at the time of her death)
Pearsall, Frank B
b. Aug. 5, 1873 d. Dec. 19, 1879
Underwood, Alice M Pearsall
b. 1877 d. 1950
Wood, Harris J
b. 1914 d. 1953
Wood, Sydney Jay
b. Apr. 3, 1893 d. 1959
Again, my eternal thanks. If you ever have need of anything in Oregon, just say the word!

|diana butcher||Alanson L Van Horn|
I just added A. L. Van Horn's wife and then linked them. Her No. is 113595513. I would appreciate it if you'd also add that picture that you took of the double monument for Alanson to his wife, Adelaide aka Adelia "Addie" Van Horn (maiden name Williams) since her inscription is on that stone.
Thanks very much!
