Thank you so much for your generous donation to Western Plains Weatherford Genealogical Society.
We are so happy to get the photos to a family member.
Was the one of Monie and her brother, your grandfather?

I can send you a map if you give me your email addy.
Take highway 65 to Louisburg and turn east on highway 64 east. You will then take the first right you come to which will be Crudgington Lane. Follow gravel road until it dead ends. Turn west then north until you get to a gate that yuo will have to get out an open and then close again(cows may be around). You will follow along a fence row north until you get to another gate to get into the cemetery.
Hope this helps We loved this cemetery and it is well kept by the Phillips who recently had a loved one passed away and is buried there,
My wife has a 2nd great grandfather Isaac Sidwell buried there. We just fixed his grave before we left.
Don't go there if it has recently rained..a lot better to get ar0und when it is dry.

I remember now! I did not think it was in Louisburg. At the intersection of 65 hwy and 64 hwy, go east on 64 hwy. It should be the first gravel road on your right (south side). I do not believe it is marked. Follow that road to the very end where there is a gate to a pasture. You have to go into the pasture to the top of the hill. Cemetary will be off to your right. I have not been able to go to the Buffalo courthouse. Good luck!

This morning it shows delivered, so I am sure it is in a Package Locker. Worked for Postal Service for years so 'know' the official term or at least what delivery employees called it. That retirement enables me to do research which is MUCH more fun, but doesn't put me in the million dollar donation group either.
SO glad to get the pictures to someone. Please share them with cousins and other family. I pulled out what I knew wasn't from relatives and have tried to distribute them.

The package left OKC about 10 p.m. so you may receive it November 30.

We are mailing the pictures today. They will be in a Priority Box thru the U S Postal Service. I don't believe they will fit in your Post Office Box.
The tracking # is 9405803699300346893519
I had hoped to remember to put a brochure in the package for Western Plains Weatherford Genealogical Society, P O BOX 853, Weatherford OK 73096. We are a 501c3 non profit. We would appreciate a donation to cover the postage which was $13.45. Or, if you have an extra million to donate, we could use a new building.
There is one picture of Mrs. Wheeler with a brother when they were children. Lots of pictures of Jon Sluder, of course.
I actually am listed as mcpaxrat (Paxson in Pontotoc County are some of my Find A Grave entries) on Find a Grave but am using another person's computer. I also do research for others. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org

I am looking for descendants of Monnie or her siblings. Our Genealogy Society has family pictures from Ruby Sluder's estate. There is one of Monnie and a brother. Who can we send them to?

|Ann Alt||42010381 Memorial for N. D Campbell|
Hello: I am trying to locate anyone who is a family member of this person...so that I can ask, is this a male or female? I am searching for a man who was the son of Wm Jesse Campbell and Cora Mae Garrison Campbell. Their son was named either NORMAL or NORVAL and was born 1911 in Garvin Co, OK. He appears with his family in 1920 and 1930 Census, but there is where it all ends. I realize that not every memorial we contributors add is "family", but just asking in case you might have info (even a little) about who N.D. Campbell might be

Hi Lynne, I am going to check the next time I'm in Buffalo. He is listed in the Dallas County Cemetery transcriptions, so I assume he did have some kind of marker when the reading was done. Thank you for linking his son. I will take a photo of his stone if I can find it.

|Marcella Gregg||Francis Marion Scott photo.|
My name is Marcella "Scott" Gregg. Francis Marion Scott was my great grandfather. My grandfather was Martin Brewster "Bruce" Scott, and my father was his son John J. Scott. I would like to know if anyone could tell me which child is Martin in this Photo. I also would like to know if anyone can tell me more about Amanda Amelia Scott and about the rest of her family. Thank You so much..

|DebraT||RE: Bottoms Family|
Lynne & Keith....
Thanks so much for getting back to me. I appreciate the info! I haven't located Ellen's grave yet, but if/when I do, I will work on linking her to Robert. Do you have any idea why other researchers list Ellen as a child of Thomas Newton and his first wife, Susanna? Also, the family story is that there is Native American ancestry...any clues? Thanks again for all your hard work and your response...
Added by DebraT on Apr 12, 2016 7:33 AM
I am a findagrave.com contributor (DebraT (#47644396). I recently found your postings on findagrave.com for the Bottoms family. I am researching this family for the descendants of Ellen Bottoms (born October 1873, married 1) Jesse J. James Jr., 2) Henry Weaver, and lived in Scott and Yell Counties, Arkansas.
I wonder if you have any information on Ellen? I notice that you did not list her as one of the children of Robert and Susan (Ritter) Bottoms, though she is listed as their daughter on the 1880 census. There are some family trees on Ancestry.com that claim that Ellen was actually Thomas Bottoms' daughter with his first wife, Susana Coplena, but I have not seen any documentation on this.
Anything you could add would be much appreciated!
