Hello,
Cave Spring Cem. is a very large cem. If you could list a plot number or a direction in the cem. I would be able to find these stones for you.

Donna Ellison
Lela Dailey at San Marcos Tx
I looked for Lela's grave today and had the caretaker go through his lists but we didn't find her. There were a couple of Lelias(?)but the dates didn't match. If you could give me a little info. on her family group I could look for their plot. There are at least three plots of Daileys there. She must have been married but I didn't see a husband's name on her memorial.
If you can narrow it down for me I'll at least try to get a plot photo for you.
Or she's buried somewhere else.
Donna

Patti Robertson
Brinkley Gravestone
Hello,
I walked through Union Cemetery for you this morning and the only Brinkley headstone was a H.V.
Brinkley born December 16, 1892 and died June 9, 1919. I took two photos of the grave in case you wanted them. I didn't know if that person was related to you or not. Alot of stones are broken off and some plots do not have stones on them but you can tell someone is buried there. Let me know if you want the photos, I'll be happy to send them to you.
Sincerely,
Patti Robertson

Robert P Owen - Greenwood, Orlando
Hi! I've taken the photo of Robert's marker, and I'm uploading it - but I also got a scan of the cemetery record. The record owner is Alma Owen, and the record shows Alma Treese buried in the plot as well. Is this Robert's wife who remarried?

Raymond Wylie at Resthaven
Regarding your photo request at Resthaven in Lubbock, please call 806-791-6200 and request the plot location (Section, Lot, Space). Then have the owner of the memorial page enter the plot info. This is an enormous cemetery and too big to walk. Thank you!

A. Hammond
Mrs. J.D. Joyce
The burial records list a John Frank Joyce and a Mrs. J.D. Joyce that should be buried side by side. I went to exactly where the marker should be and only found a marker for Donia Thrash-Joyce wife of J.F. Joyce b. July 4, 1878 d. Jan 27, 1922 There was no marker beside hers for John Frank Joyce but the records state he is buried there so maybe for some reason no marker was placed. Is this the correct person for Mrs. J.D. Joyce before I post a picture?

Marian Ritchie
Samuel Westbrook
HI again,
On page 28 of the book "Wood County 1850-1900."

Westbrook Methodist Church was organized ca 1880 on land donated by Samuel Westbrook. Nothing is known of the first building, but the second was a two story with the upper floor being used as a lodge hall. Charter members of this church were Samuel Westbrook and wife, John and Stephen Westbrook, Joseph H. Dickson and wife, Robert J. Weems and wife, and Mrs. John Westbrook. It is believed that Asa Weems who lived in the Lone Star Community helped to found the church.

Source: Mrs. W. H. Dickson.

I didn't know if you already know all this so I thought I'd share it with you.

Blessings,
Marian

Samuel Westbrook
Greetings for Winnsboro, Texas. After church today I walked the Smyrna Cemetery looking for your Samuel and Mary Westbrook. I'm sorry to say that I could not find them.

If this is your direct line I would be very interested in knowing where the birth and death dates came from. For you see I have a Samuel H. Westbrook in my direct family line. He is buried in Deport, Texas in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery as is his daughter Mary Susan "Westbrook" Isbell and her husband, Robert Isbell.

Samuel H. Westbrook married Nancy Elizabeth Vickers in Cherokee County, Texas. Look at the information in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery under the Westbrooks and see if anything clicks with the information you have regarding your Samuel Westbrook. Remember family history is only as good as the person's memory who supplied the information. Many times memories fade and tombstones are put up at a later date and things like this cause mistakes in dates and so forth.

Best Regards, I do hope you find your Westbrook connections.
