I know Sam was adopted. He died when I was only 8 or 9. The only thing I know is that he was from Pennsylvania. I am a niece from his wifes side.

JA Melhorn
Hi
Is Ella (Melhorn) Felty one of John A Melhorn's children? Also did you know that he ( At least I THINK it was him) was a photographer in New Oxford? I have a cdv photo with the backmark of JA Melhorn. My Great Grandmother was Mary (Felty) Weaver. Her brother Joseph was married to Ella.Just posted some pictures on their pages here. I grew up in New Oxford, now near York.We do flowers at the cemetery every Memorial Day.

Deubler
I put my email address on my page if you want to get in touch with me instead of putting it here.
My Moms mother was a Harrod. Charles's mother was a Harrod and married a Deubler. Just letting you know where I came in on the Deublers.

Charles & Koneta Deubler
Can you delete Charles and Koneta Deubler that was entered? I entered them and put Koneta's gravestone on her memorial. Her new number is 103811360 and Charles is 103811284. I will be updating them as I can.

RE: Koneta Deubler
I didn't put in the photo as I wrote and told her the cemetery she put Koneta in has the wrong name. The proper name is Memorial Park Mausoleum Cemetery. If you check it out it has over 2,000 people buried there. That is where Koneta and Charles are buried. I wrote and told her to change the cemetery name but havent gotten a response. Deublers are also on my grandmothers side. I will put the picture when she is in the right cemetery. I might enter the info I have on a new memorial in the right cemetery where Charles and Koneta are. If you know the person who entered her maybe you could get her to put the right cemetery in.
Thanks

RE: Herman Wieger
Hello,

You are so very welcome. It was our pleasure to be able to help. The cemetery where he is buried provides a book to let you know the area where the deceased are buried and whether or not they have a marker. This makes looking fairly easy. Have a good evening.

John Andrew Melhorn

Hi,

You emailed me a correction for John about adding his parents.
But, I'm wondering about the dates for who was supposed to be his dad.

John Andrew Melhorn 34626766 and his wife Agnes Mary Hemler 34626781.

His dates are 1889-1930, but the son John's dates are 1867-1964. So, that would make the son older than the dad??

Can you get back to me on this when you get a chance? I added his mom, but I can't add his dad if he's younger??

Thanks,

Nevada

Joyce Strong
St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA
St. Matthew's no longer has a cemetery. The final segment of the cemetery was dismantled in 1978. While the people were left buried where they were, the headstones were removed and the area left as a lawn or park area.
