RE: Trexler
I obtained a copy of the book several years ago and have been trying to have individuals linked. In the Allentown area, the book is in local libraries. Otherwise look online, Google books, etc. That is how I found my copy.
I am sending additional information with the correction of Gladys Pickens.. Perhaps you can locate the descendants.
If there is anything else you want me to look up for you, let me know and I will be happy to send it to you.

I'm guessing we are related. Question is how? My great great grandparents are Jackson and Deborah Trexler. My line runs from their son Elmer.

Robert D. Downey
I posted Robert Downey's page in 2009. You posted yours later. You need to remove your page.

RE: Pickens headstones
Janice -- Thank you! I will let you know. I'm only about 2 hours from Newton, and have been to the cemetery, though it's been quite a few years ago. I've just recently begun exploring our family tree, so perhaps will make a trip down there this summer myself.

Does your family tree have an online presence? I'm on Ancestry and would be happy to share that with you. My personal email is jds217 (at) juno (dot) com. (Written thus to avoid copy by spammers.)

Pickens headstones
Thank you for the information & photos of the various Pickens headstones, particularly those from Trexler Cemetery.

My great-grandparents were Darwin C & Glady E (Moore) Pickens, and great-great-grandparents were Arthus & Rachel (Trexler) Pickens, buried there. I've been to the cemetery, but it's been quite a few years, and I appreciate being to see these photos as I work on researching my family tree.
