Hi Sue,
I got and made correction requests for Bernard & Anna Roberts. I also copy and pasted the information you sent and put it in the "Bio" Section of their memorials. If you have anything else you would like done just let me know.
Thanks, Jared

Joseph Jordan
Regarding your inquiry as to why Joseph Jordan was disinterred. Joseph Jordan was previously interred at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. However, all the known graves were moved to the Custer County Cemetery back in the late 90's. Reason for this was that the cemetery was neglected and overgrown, so the county elected to move all the interments to the Custer County Cemetery. The Sunset Memorial Gardens was a place where the deceased were put in vaults (or drawers). I can't for the life of me think of the name for that.

Anyway, Joseph Jordan was moved on 10-19-1996 to the Custer County Cemetery and is located in Section R, Lot 903. Hope this answers your questions.

You're welcome. Another member is photographing Calvary and has claimed your request so you should be seeing a photo of his marker in a few days.

Hello Sue, I remember reading about the incident...did you read the article yet? I thought I'd pass along the link to one of the memorials: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Landreth&GSiman=1&GScnty=927&GRid=17716893& I think of the story from time to time - it's terribly sad to think of the boy begging to be killed because of the pain endured by the powder explosion. I hope this helps you figure something out about any connection.

RE: Erma Fox
Hi Sue,

Sorry for getting back to you so late on your comment and request. I have had computer problems and been on vacation for two weeks soon after my computer crashed.

You were asking if I had a clearer photo for Erma Fox's grave marker. The photo on her memorial was not taken by me but by another Find-a-Grave contributor. I do have a photo for her memorial which I took before I set up her memorial. I have added it to her memorial for her and her husband Gerald for you.

I do not know where the Pendergast came from. That's a cemetery that I only transcribed from the headstone and I'm not near enough to check. For now until I get back there I could eliminate that name if you like?
